I dont usually write reviews but I will make an exception for this exceptional product.I purchased the cart to schlep groceries and warehouse club purchases from the car. Depending on where I park, multiple trips with heavy items can be frustrating and painful due to aging knees. Thankfully aging also leads hopefully to wisdom and this was a preventative purchase as well as planning for the future. The cart was fully assembled which is always great. It unfolds easily and folds back up equally easily. It is not heavy and fits easily in the back seat of the car or the half the trunk. My intention is to leave it in the car.It is large enough to carry 2 full 24 packs of water with room to spare. Ok, so I needed a wagon because as a Mom, I am often stuck playing the part of the pack mule on family outings. Enter, this wagon. Yeah, yeah, its pink, a color I dont particularly like, but it was the cheapest of all colors and my daughters seem to think its cute so MAYBE theyll want to pull it once in a while? Not holding my breath We took it to an outdoor concert just last night and had to park about a block and a half away. This thing held our camp chairs pic taken after they were removed and set up plus our cooler, ground blankets, drinks and extra bags of random crap. It rolled easily, jumped curbs when needed and cruised across the grass of the uneven park like a champ. I researched folding wagons for a few days, compared them all, and ended up buying the Mac Wagon from Sam’s Club.It came down to the Mac Wagon and a couple more from other large retail stores. The Mac Wagon is about $5 more, but well worth it. I was able to go to a couple of local places to look at, touch, and measure their wagons…but our Sam’s Club didn’t have any Mac Wagons in stock. So, I had to rely on reviews of others, for the Mac Wagon features. The Mac Wagon is the highest-rated folding wagon on all sites, has a 4.8 of 5 rating on Sam’s website, and a 4.7 of 5 on the largest on-line retailer’s site, with almost 6,000 reviews…that’s huge. The other wagons I considered both report 225 lb capacity, while the Mac Wagon reports a 150 lb capacity. The other wagons I considered both report 225 lb capacity, while the Mac Wagon reports a 150 lb capacity. And, the Mac Wagon is better-made, and much more-sturdy than the others, so I have to believe there is a discrepancy somewhere in weight reporting. One of the comparable wagons is about 3” shorter than the Mac Wagon. Being 6’ 4”, the handle length was a big deal for me…the Mac Wagon has by-far the longest extended pull handle. I’m not sure exactly how long any of them are, as none report accurately, but I would say the Mac Wagon’s handle is a good 4”-5” longer than competitors handles. The Mac Wagon also has 9” rubber tires. While with the competitors, one wagon has 7” rubber tires, and the other wagon has 7” PVC tires. I definitely wanted rubber tires, for a smoother, quieter ride. The Mac Wagon has a steel frame that acts as a rail in the front and back…you can also lift the wagon, if need be, by the frame. The other wagons’ frames are nowhere near as sturdy. The Mac Wagon is also easier to fold and unfold than the other wagons. It also has the seat and all the padding built-in to the bed of the wagon. The other wagons have separate padded cardboard beds that you have to fold out and lay in the bed of the wagon after unfolding. One of the knocks on the Mac Wagon used to be that it wouldn’t stand up by itself. Well, they have changed that with the newer models, and some little extensions from the rear wheels unfold when you fold the wagon, allowing it to sit on the extensions and stand up by itself.I was able to find a really good comparison video on the differences between the Mac Wagon and one top competitor. This comparison video sold me on the Mac Wagon. I’m glad I listened.

Good Value

I ordered this wagon to help me walk my groceries home. After about a month of use, these are my takeaways: Pros: I've used the wagon on grass, brick, and typical pavement. The wheels handled all of those surfaces easily. The mechanism to fold and unfold the wagon is easy too. It's fairly light weight and fits far more groceries than the cheaper grocery wagons on the market, so I can shop less often. My friend's have already started borrowing it for their own picnic, moving, etc. needs too! Cons: It has no brakes. This didn't occur to me as a necessity when purchasing, but as I've used it to transport items in car trunks, drag things up hill, and lean the folded wagon against the wall, the lack of brakes has been mildly annoying. The turn radius is also a bit large, so pulling it through narrow grocery aisles takes patience. For the pricepoint, I'm not very concerned with the Cons. The wagon is sturdy and I'm already getting a lot of use out of it. As a first-time wagon owner, this is a great fit!

This wagon is solid, with a couple of features I didn't initially realize. First, the material is pretty heavy, so I expect it to hold up well. The folding mechanism also seems like it will be durable. One feature I didn't expect is that when folded, there is a cover to help keep the wagon clean and prevent it from falling open (we'll see if it gets used or if it gets lost...). The cover has two straps that clip under the folded wagon to keep it in place. There is also a strap on the wagon itself that velcros together to keep the wagon folded if the cover is not used and to help with moving the folded wagon around. The 2nd feature is that when folded, there is a sort of kickstand that keeps the wagon from rolling away or tipping over. Very clever.Overall, the wagon is reasonably lightweight, so loading into/out of the car should be easy. The wheels are solid plastic/rubber but are a little wobbly on hard pavement. Should be fine on grass.I cross-shopped these on Amazon and other stores and the Sam's price was the best. The folding tray is a feature that many of these don't have, even those costing almost twice as much. Good job, Sam's.

Great work wagon
25 July 2024

I ordered this wagon to use when we took our 5 teenage grandchildren to a water amusement park. We loaded it down with beach towels, purses, wallets, and change of clothing. It has a convenient tray top that holds your drinks, etc. It pulls easily even loaded down, it was easy to set up and break down, it folds up to a manageable size that takes up very little room. It also comes with a canvas bag with handles that makes carry it easier. The handle could be a little longer for taller people like my 6’4 husband, but was manageable.

Kind of flimsy
2 August 2024

Live in an apartment complex and the trash dumpster isn't very close to our unit. Wanted a fold up wagon to haul our daily trash and space is at a premium in our apartment. The wagon stows neatly with minimal space. My issue is its constructed very flimsy and if I'm not careful it won't last very long. Also have to watch how much weight I put in. I'd be scared to put more than 40 pounds (18kg) in it. I'll be surprised if it lasts a year.

Carrying bags, items, laundry, and so many other things up to the condo 5th floor was a multiple trip task, until now. With my Mac Sports collapsing red wagon, 1 trip and with 360° turning front wheels, and a heavy weight carrying capacity, now a piece of cake ease. I highly recommend spending a little extra and purchase the best wagon on the market.Gary JonesHendersonville NC

Bought it today. Opened the box, and to my surprise, it was all completely assembled! Removed the cover and opened it in seconds. Loaded up the wagon with 2 40 packs of ice moutain water bottles and pulled it across the grass to the house with ease. I bought it to keep by our camper, so I don't have to make as many trips to and from the truck. We don't have to carry the cooler and bins of stuff anymore! I have been wanting this for some time now. May need another for our house.

Costco was out of stock on these and I needed one ASAP so I found it on this site. Shipping was quick. Box and item were intact. This folds and opens easily and isn’t too heavy. Four stars because the material of this has an unpleasant smell. I can’t stand to have it in my apartment. Doesn’t seem to stink up my car as badly. Hoping the smell will wane with time because I use it all the time.
