Would not recommend this for and 8 year old or even a few years older! No fun for my son to build at all as his dad had to do it all as far to complicated! Screws missing, and ones that was in the box easily snapped!Eventually put together and the wings did not move, so had to take it all apart again to see what the problem was, and after fixing and putting back together again the whole thing did not work or respond to the app on my sons tablet, I now have a broken expensive toy and a very upset son
