First I'm a Cleveland fan boy. Everything I have is Cleveland expect my driver (Cobra Drivers are to good). Was looking for new irons after having Cleveland Tour Actions handed down to me and I went through Sirixon zx4, Cobra Forged, P770, and Wilson Staff. But for the price and feel, Cleveland impressed me the most. All I have to say is when you go to the Golf Shop just give these a few swings. The long irons are great but the higher lofted are so forgiving it's great. Pair it with some CBXs and a Huntington Beach Putter your friends will be jealous and your scores will drop once you get used to these bad boys!

If you are looking for a slightly thicker top line and longer blade length you should give these serious consideration! I honestly was not expecting to choose these over a wide selection at the golf shop, but when comparing how the club looked at address, I kept coming back to the Launcher XL model. I think a lot of golfers will enjoy these and the competitive price point allows you to consider upgrading the shafts as well. I thought the shipping would take longer, but was happy to get them in just a couple weeks and fully customized. I typically shoot mid 80s to 90s with 1 or 2 toe shanks a round, but didn't hack any in my first outing with the clubs. Props to Cleveland Golf for making a solid product.

I am a current female tournament gopher so I decided upgrade my irons this year, I had heard a lot about these club but never tested them. They took me by surprise from the first hit due to the soft feel off the face, med- high ball flight and accuracy with the 4 through 7 irons. The shorts irons played like game improvement irons but with a little more spin than normal. The extra-long/over size heads have never been my favorite but these club are so forgiving and the V Soul allows me to have great Turf contact just about anywhere on the course. The distance was not the longest in my fitting but the overall ease to hit these clubs forced me to bag them. EASY EASY EASY with accuracy!!!!!!!! Down 3 strokes in 6 weeks.

I bought these with the intent of improving my game a little bit. The forgiveness in the club has provided me a more consistent shot shape and lessened the impact of my misses. I have gained more confidence with my course play and practice sessions. I like the look of the club head behind the ball even if they are on the chunky side. Weight is a little more than my older set but I don't see that as a negative. I will definitely recommend these clubs to my friends!
Was in the market for new irons. Been playing one lengths for several years, but the lead times were months out. The fitter suggested I try these even though they are variable lengths. It was love at first strike. They sound and feel really close to forged in my opinion. Very forgiving. After a few practice sessions at the range, the variable length didn't matter anymore. Shot my best round ever yesterday with these. Hit 16 greens in regulation with nice, smooth swings. Shot a 72...I reckon I'll keep them!
I went to a demo day to try the Launcher XL driver and the rep suggested I try the irons. They were so easy to hit that I decided to order a custom set 5-PW with senior graphite shafts since I already game their CBX2 48 and 52 degree wedges. Played my first round yesterday and it did not disappoint as I hit more decent to good iron shots than I have in recent months. Shaved at least 6 strokes from my score and it was the first time playing them. Looking forward to what is possible once I get used to them after a few rounds. I've played Taylormade and Ping irons up to now but these irons are clearly better for me!
People, these are the real deal. Just getting back into golf after 20+ year absence, age 61, never had lessons in my early years so I'm essentially starting new with this game. With 3 lessons under my belt, I am able to hit straight and long. These clubs are terrific. So easy to hit, and many times I hit it farther than what you would expect. 7 iron 160+ yards. I am not athletic either. When the ball is hit well, contact is so crisp and light it's like you are hitting a light object, no notable resistance as the ball just 'launches' off the face. Wow! Swing speed upper 70's to mid 80's, using stiff flex shafts ( 10 yards longer than regular flex, go figure). Cleveland really has a hot product here. Same goes for the Launcher woods, my 5 wood gets me to 250 yards at ... MorePeople, these are the real deal. Same goes for the Launcher woods, my 5 wood gets me to 250 yards at times, usually 220-230. I am still not using a full power swing yet either. My golf buddy saw it first hand earlier tonight and is impressed with the performance so much he is going to try out Cleveland drivers and fairways.
I bought these a month ago. Good-looking irons and the sound and feel are fantastic. Even though I felt they had good bones there was something out of kilter for me. After I put on my favorite grips which are the jumbo size Golf Pride CP2 78g, I was erratic, to say the least. I had no confidence that I was going to hit the shot I needed. I could not feel the head.... Soooooo I put them up for sale on market place and mygolfspy. I had no luck with selling so I decided to go out on a limb and remove the counter balance 8g weight at the butt end of the clubs. I used my pipe cutter tool and nipped off 1/2 which effectively removed the weight. I use an air compressor with my grips so it was easy to blow em back and get ready for a test run. I was nervous the irons would ... MoreI bought these a month ago. Good-looking irons and the sound and feel are fantastic. I was nervous the irons would not work and I would be out of some serious cash ($800.00) I thought well I could pass them on to my wife . So I arrived early at my golf course and hit the range. First ball hit with my PW was money! My heart took a skip as I hit the second ball. Boom nice high beautiful trajectory shot. Same results all through the set. I was relieved, to say the least, as I had confidence these would work well during my round and they did not disappoint.I would have given these irons 5 stars without the counter balance. The CB will probably work well for the majority however it didn't take long for me to see they were a no go for my game. Now I absolutely love em!
I was previously using a set of Ping G410s and was looking for something that would launch the ball higher with a bit more forgiveness. What I found head to head is that the Clevelands do launch higher and misses flew longer and straighter. Spin is still consistent from iron to iron so no problem holding the greens. The feel is outstanding and has a nice click upon contact. Couldn't ask for more and very happy with my purchase. These irons have dramatically helped improve my iron play. Purchased 5-G in the Project X Catalyst. I like the PGA Superstore as you can try just about any brand and order the clubs customized to your specs. The Superstore team is always friendly and know their stuff!
I went into a golf shop with my Cobra Amps last weekend and compared the head shapes to all the clubs they had, and surprisingly the Cleveland Launcher XL irons seemed to match. So I decided to finally try to replace the Cobra Amps after a decade of use and repeated unsuccessful tries to replace them. So I bought Cleveland Launcher XL irons with Catalyst 60 stiff shafts. The Cleveland Launcher XL irons are incredible. They legitimately go at least 10 yards further than the Cobra Amps. They also just go straight. Shot an 80 on a really hard track today, primarily because of the irons. And the 5 iron seems to go about as far as my 19 degree hybrid but doesn't snap hook like that club sometimes does. A straight hitting 195-yard 5 iron was totally unexpected (especially ... A straight hitting 195-yard 5 iron was totally unexpected (especially since my Amp 5 iron only goes like 180 max) and is just really a great thing for tight tee shots. I hit a 7 iron almost 170 today; normal length is 155. That's insane.
