This is the first golf club review I’ve ever felt compelled to write. Of course, I’ve had several purchases in the past that I saw improvements with. But, these wedges are absolutely amazing. I can’t think of any better way to put it. I got the 48 and 54, both your satin and with the mid grinds. I just open the face with the 54 if I need any loft higher than that. No real need for a 58 or higher for me. The feel, balance, and overall performance immediately impressed me. I have played Vokeys, TM Milled Grind, and Ping wedges in the past. I even tried the CBX2 wedges last year too, but the cavity back feel and irregular shot distances got old quick. The spin that I can achieve with these wedges are on a level I’ve never been able to get with other models. Even the 48 ... MoreThis is the first golf club review I’ve ever felt compelled to write. My shots are so much more predictable and consistent than I’ve ever been able to accomplish with other models too.One other very noticeable difference too is that the durability with these really confuses me. Four rounds in, including multiple practice sessions, and it seriously looks like I just picked these clubs off of the rack. Every wedge has always shown wear on the very first shot, which is fine with me because I appreciate the look of aged wedges. These seriously look brand new. This might only be the case with the tour satin finish though, which is incredibly beautiful by the way. I feel like I finally found some amazing scoring clubs that I will have in my bag for a very long time.

I will start by saying that this wedge has been amazing. I love using it, and I feel extremely confident around the green. When I upgraded to these wedges, I started firing at pins I would never aim at in the past, and the 'check' is amazing. One or two bounces and it just grabs. I've definitely got up and down significantly more using these. Love the performance. My complaint is with the black satin finish. It will wear off and leave some very ugly scratch lines on the bottom of the club. Bunker shots are especially bad for it. At the end of the day, when you swing the club, you can't see it, but when it sits in your bag, you will definitely notice it. I've had the club for just about a month know and the wear is noticeable. In a year, I expect most of the paint ... MoreI will start by saying that this wedge has been amazing. Needed a good wedge to replace a used Golden Bear I bought at PGA Super 12 yrs ago for 19.00. First time swung was on hole 2 at Sawgrass stadium , and after that , about 2000 more times it seemed . More grind was needed, but this club and I spent lots of time together in the sand there . Better than the water traps albeit , or the 8" rough they left growing for the players coming up. On 16 I found out this club has lots of spin , as my above hole shot spun right into the water. Great club and cheap for an everyday Joe like me. I shot 120 or double my age, would have been 150 without the wedge

Great all around wedge, have 3 of them. Mid loft is very versatile from various turf and sand conditions. I plays lots of different courses and travel a little, so I have no "home course" to tailor my wedge game to. These wedges offer a "do all" grind and loft. The 50 is great as a full swing gap wedge and the 54 is great "strong" sand wedge and finish that up with a 58 as a "weak" sand wedge or "strong" lob wedge. The spinner shaft is also versatile IMO which allows me to finesse shots when needed, but if I step on it I don't feel like it balloons either. The raw finish seems "sticky" and looks cool as it ages. If you need a lot of creativity very close to the green, you may choose to take some heel relief on your 58 or 60. Get 'em.
I just received my new Cleveland RTX Zipcore wedges. 54 and 58 which filled a distance gap I used to have with my old 56 /60 combo. I was really learning to like these wedges but yesterday on the 15th hole I fell in LOVE! I had a 80 yard carry over water and hit a hard 58 thought it went to far but it hit back of green and spun back to 1 ft from hole for a birdie 3 and then on 18 same club greenside up and over bunker to save par No putting required they threw them back to me. Love it. Black satin finish is cool. I chose these because they seemed right in between a Game improvement wedge and a pro blade type wedge easy to hit but still lots of feel. Highly recommendJim 9 handicap
I'm a low handicap golfer for one reason - strong wedge play.Just replaced my Cleveland RTX-4 60 degree with a new ZipCore 60 degree.Very similar to the previous versions of top Cleveland wedges, but the grooves seem to have bit better grip. This is a classic blade style wedge. If you're a good wedge player, this is an outstanding club. If you struggle with wedges, pass on this and buy a Cleveland CBX.
Was looking for a high bounce wedge to replace previous low bounce wedge. My current local course has significantly better grass around the green. The high bounce wedge has given better contact and consistency from those lies around the green. The wedge itself Cleveland RTX Zipcore is a great wedge providing confidence in short game. Golf box pricing also a winner as always!
The RTX Zipcore is a phenomenal wedge. I originally bought one for my brother for his birthday last December and after taking it out of the box to wrap it, I loved the feel. After several rounds with it, my brother couldn't stop talking about how it just ripped on greens and was becoming his go-to club so I decided to buy one for myself. I've used mine for several rounds now and several practice sessions and I can say that he definitely wasn't wrong. The Zipcore was a massive upgrade from my last wedge. I'm even considering picking up another one to replace one of my other wedges!
These replaced my Cleveland CBX2 wedges. They are a little heavier which took some getting used to but these are quality. Plenty of spin on full and half shots, smaller sole mean they are more versatile around the greens. Look fantastic in the bag. And thanks to Golfbox for their usual quick service and giving me store credit for the difference when these wedges went on sale two days later.
Ordered a 54 and a 58 of the black satins. I was delivered two wedges with different shafts, one Dynamic Gold and One KBS Tour V. I understand on the site it says the shafts are in high demand and they may switch shafts from the DG, but not matching them is crazy, especially when they have a different weight. On top of that, they sent me a 56 instead of the 54. When I asked to return the 56 and get the 54, I was told they were now out of stock. I'm sure the wedges are great, but what a joke of an experience. Returning and purchasing from somewhere else.
