This does everything it advertisers and is a lovely light moisture foam giving body and definition to my fine thick curly wavy hair. It lifts the roots well and doesn’t weigh the hair down . Absolutely love it. I use 3 pumps and is just right. This clever curl system is a total game changer and at last have found the products that really works .

This product is amazing .I just wet through lightly with my hair and 2 pumps as I turn my head to left and same to the right.Iwas amazed as it holds but no crunchie hair and hair seems to dry Quickly.I scrunch while it’s naturally drying and people think I’ve just had my hair curled .I will continue to buy this as I love the no hassle and fresh curls.My hair is very thick and coarse and it takes fizz and don’t have to use to much product .Grateful clever curl 🙏❤️

Best curl foam I’ve used. Excellent hold, doesn’t leave a sticky/tacky feeling once dry. Scrunches out with hair oil nicely and holds for a few days with a refresh every other day before wash day. Smells good but there is a fragrance free version too.
This is a great product to put in your hair either wet or dry however on my dry, frizzy and coarse hair, it's not the product for me. I have followed my hairdresser's instructions to applying this to my hair. I have tried putting it through my hair sopping wet with a little of the clever curl conditioner and then wrapping my wet hair in a hair wrap. Yes it does work and it gives me great curls, not frizzy. However, when my hair is completely dry, it seems to be drying out my hair if that makes sense. I am not a fan of this product for my hair personally. My hair is very dry and I will look at the Clever Curl alternative (CC Cream) to replace the foam. It is absolutely a 5 star product but just not the product for me.
I thought this would be like any other mousse, so I dispensed around 4 pumps, which is the usual amount I require for my hair length. Big BIG mistake. A little goes a really long way with this product. The instructions say 2 pumps and that is exactly how much I should've used. Probably as a result of using too much product, it felt soapy and left a white residue while my hair was wet. I left the product in my hair for a while and blow dried to finish off. Rest assured, there was no build-up, sticky, tacky or unclean feeling once my hair was dry and i scrunched the curls into shape. It leaves curls feeling soft and bouncy with no residue left afterwards. Gives roots a great lift without feeling sticky which is great! I really love this product and it goes well with ... This stuff smells amazing (like jellybeans) and definitely don't need much.I have super fine hair and thought I had 1c/2a hair but after using the gel I apparently have 2c hair!But anywho - wasn't expecting much, was just after reduced frizz and a lil bit of volume which it definitely reduces frizz but I have less volume than what I would have without.Possibly better results with hairdryer as I just air-dried but I now also have slight waves near my root which I've never had before from memorySo it does what it says it does - I'm just unsure if I like it.
The best foam! I use the wet hair curly method, squeeze the water out of my hair then add this foam about 3 pumps to shoulder length hair, plop it and then comb through, then blow dry! It’s best on wet hair as I tried it on dry hair and it goes a bit sticky. I even bought the large size once I knew how to use it.
I use this religiously every time I wash my hair. Switched from more expensive foams because this works the best and is cost effective. The curly girl method does not need to be expensive with this foam. Also smells amazing but I don’t mind using the fragrance free option as well.
Such a light foam that I use on the roots of my curly hair with no product build up left on my scalp. I also finger comb it through from roots to ends as a 'base coat' for my clever curl gel! A wonderful curly girl range of products. I won't go back!
