You cannot go wrong with this blush! There are so many wonderful color choices; some have a slight shimmer, others are matte. The packaging only enhances the experience of using this product! The tones of blush that are available offer a wide range of color, and they are well worth looking into and trying. You are able to build the color to the depth you want on the face, yet keep the product to a subtle glow and sheer wash of color if that is your preference. I use a dual fiber slightly loose haired brush for application because I usually go for a more sheer wash of color. If you want a deeper application, using a stiffer, denser brush would easily pick up more product. Such a great blush and I have several in my collection!

I love cream and liquid blushes especially when I’m just doing a quick “no makeup” makeup look and especially in the summer time. I rarely wear a full out face of makeup. Clinique’s Cheek Pop is not only cute, but it’s very creamy, pigmented, and comes in many shades that look good on lots of skin tones. I like to just swipe some on with my finger and blend as much as possible on my cheeks with my fingers, then I typically go in with a blending sponge and even it out. This color is perfect for summer and gives you the perfect tint. I have this blush and other shades, and I absolutely love it, and I'm a long-time makeup artist. Not every blush needs to be high-pigment, high-impact to be beautiful and sophisticated. For those saying that the colours don't match the artificial swatch images shown, this is completely normal. To actually know what a makeup product colour looks like in reality, in this case, a blush shade, look up the blush and shade on YouTube for a live swatch. That is the best resource. The second resource is a simple Google search (type in swatch afterwards), only if one can't find it on YouTube, which is unlikely. There are many great swatch videos of these blushes. Also, these blushes are hard-pressed into the pan, which makes them last forever. It also means that they don't pick up as easily as some other blushes, which is not a negative at all. These are great quality. It's a baked gelee formula that typically needs a firmer brush to pick up. This is what gives off a that lovely sheen on the cheeks, with no sparkle.Additionally, with baked gelee formulas, it has been noted the product has fallen out of the pan for some. It hasn't happened to me, but this is the nature of baked gelees sometimes (and other makeup, quite frankly). Just super-glue it back in - problem solved. They are baked onto terracotta tiles in ovens, in Italy.Hope that helps.. :)

Favorite blush formula of all time! Packaging flaws
1 November 2022

I started wearing Cheek Pops when they first came out. Favorite shades for my complexion are Fig and Plum Pop. Plum Pop is the perfect bright cool toned pink for my olive complexion. It's one of my most worn blushes, but I'm afraid they no longer make it. Why!? :( Fig Pop is also fantastic. It's a toasty, reddish deep terracotta tone. I'm looking at Black Honey Pop next. These Blushes give just the right amount of subtle glow to the cheeks. They are extremely long-wearing. The formula is unique. It's a baked blush that is very tightly packed, so there's no kick up in the pan. A synthetic brush works well as long as you "dig" a little into the pan. A natural fiber brush grips the product a bit easier. I'll use either, depending what's closest.I do have (two) ... MoreI started wearing Cheek Pops when they first came out. A natural fiber brush grips the product a bit easier. I'll use either, depending what's closest.I do have (two) issues, though:1) The blush can come completely loose from the plate it's baked on, and then it is susceptible to breaking once it's no longer secure in the packaging. This happened with every single shade I own except for one within a very short time of opening them. Thankfully the product is so firm it doesn't actually break it once it comes loose and keeps its circular form. None of mine have ever shattered despite having been loose in the packaging and my continual use. I just keep them in my drawer and don't let them jostle around. I don't travel with them often, but I did for my wedding and they were fine.2) The plastic compact stops closing securely so I have to tape them shut to keep the loose product from falling out! Makes it look ugly having a piece of packing tape covering the compact, then it loses its sticky over time and needs replacing lol. Yeah, these two problems combined are annoying. The fact that I put up with it and still prefer to use these over other Blushes says a lot! I would generally not be so willing to look past these flaws, esp in conjunction with each other. But I haven't purchased a new Blush Pop in several years. Maybe they've fixed these problems by now?Product 5/5Packaging 2/5

Fig pop
7 June 2022

Saw these blushes a long time ago. Eye catching. Recently decided to try this out. I have fig pop. Somewhat of a different shade than my usuals. Like this shade on my medium tanned skin. Looks just slightly different than swatch. On cheeks looks mauvish pink with a little bronze undertone. Nice! Like the look. Warmer shade that is natural looking and shows up with building. Blush is creamy and silk like. Slightly satin. Doesn’t accentuate any texture. Overall smooth. Application is light. I like more color so I have to use a denser brush and build. Would consider purchasing other colors…Like the look of rose and berry pop per swatches but not available. I say absolutely on cheek pop!

Great product, but much brighter colour in person
31 December 2022

This is a lovely product overall. Silky formula, easy to apply and build up. The only issue for me is the colour. It's far more bright than I expected, based on reviews and swatches I'd seen online.(For reference, my skin tone is light-light/medium, with warm/gold undertones. I am western european ethnically).I expected a peachy toned blush, but on my skin tone, it throws more of a pinky tone than a true peach (ie I thought it would look more orange than pink). It is a nice colour if you like that really bright blush look, maybe on a person with a different undertone it would look better. For me, the "nude pop" shade is more flattering.Based on the amount you would use, you would likely get years of use out of this.

Heather pop is a must
13 August 2022

I have the color Heather Pop, and it's my favorite blush. It's a good shade for light skin tones, who like a pretty neutral dusty pink blush tone, not too cool but not too warm. The blush has a gorgeous natural sheen that makes your cheeks look plump and healthy. It lasts about 10 hours on my drier skin, but when it begins to fade it does so gracefully and never looks patchy or uneven in its fading. It's buildable but only to a certain point. If you have deep toned skin I don't think this would build enough to be impactful. I'm tempted to buy a few more shades, perhaps the purple shade? Pansy pop. It's in my wish list.

I AM NEW TO CLINIQUE
16 September 2022

Up until now I had never found a blush that I was completely satisfied with. This blush is what I've been looking for I love it. I chose the ginger pop for my fair English rose complexion. I didn't want anything too pinky or bright. Ginger pop is perfect for me, going towards a pale peachy color. I used a lot on my clean brush, to get it to appear on my cheeks, I love the healthy glow, it looks natural and nice with my brunette hair color. It is a cross between a powder and a liquid finish, which is very flattering. I've loved all of the three different Clinique products I've bought recently. I look forward to trying more. Clinique foaming moisturizer in the pink tube, is amazing too, I highly recommend it, especially if you have sensitive skin like me. Perfect for fair skin with olive undertones
23 January 2023

I have fair skin that tans easily with olive green undertones, ash + ice blonde hair, and warm green eyes. I look best in colors that are that are soft/muted/dusty rather than saturated/clear/vivid. I wanted a blush that matched the natural color of my cheeks when I pinch them, and this really does! It was really difficult to find “the one”. On me, a fair olive person, most blushes pull too warm (coral, orange, peach, even if they don’t look that way in the pan) or are too vibrant/not muted enough (like true red, fuchsia, magenta, baby pink). Or, if they are suited for olive skin they are made for someone with a deeper skin tone than me (plum, burgundy, berry, rose). Momma always said go with Clinique! Lol. And the formula is really nice, lasts all day and is buildable and user friendly. Luminous but not sparkly. If you’re a fair olive like me, and you have had similar blush dilemmas, give it a try!
