THIS TONER HAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED MY SKIN! I received it in a holiday kit for a 3 step skincare ritual. The smell was extremely strong but I tried looking past it. At first it worked well. I was noticing improvement in the size and cleanliness of my pores within weeks. Fast forward 5 month later and it has destroyed my skin. It has completely irritated and dried out multiple areas. I have never had an issue with irritation on my face until I incorporated this product into my skincare routine. After researching and looking at the ingredient list alcohol is the 3rd ingredient listed. No thank you! I expected better from Clinique. I will be using cleaner products from now on.

No, I do not recommend that you buy this tool, because. the price is ten times higher! Buy salicylic and boric alcohol, add menthol extract, your favorite hydrolat and you get the same CLINIQUE ClarifyIng Lotion 2. Result: black dots, dirty pores remained in place. The effect is even less than from the usual pharmacy salicylic acid for 0.50 cents. But the skin became thinner and even drier. There is no gentle exfoliation. It's not an exfoliate, it's stupid menthol alcohol! Well, instead of the promised cleansing - the opposite effect, because. the skin begins to produce even more fat, which clogs in the pores and gives rise to those same black dots and subcutaneous tissue.

I’m not sure I personally would have a need to replenish this product on a regular basis, but it was definitely a welcome refresher for my tired and dull skin at the end of a long day. You can’t go wrong with Clinique!

There are 4 different versions of this clarifying lotion from very dry to super oily so its important to really assess your skin type/get the right one to see the best results. with that being said, I love this product!!!!! In the morning i wash my face with a gentle cleanser, sweep this across my face with a cotton ball, then let dry and follow it with an acne lotion (i use the mattifying one from cetaphil). My skin looks so bright and smooth all day long! Clinique is one of my all time favorite brands! I’ve yet to try a product I doubt like! This luxurious skincare/makeup Brand is one of the best! The Jumbo Clarifying lotion is perfect for removing Makeup cleansing your skin after a long day! It has a light refreshing scent, removes makeup, dirt, oil impurities with ease! My skin is left clean, makeup free, hydrated glowing! This is a go to staple in my skincare routine! This product has quality ingredients which is why it’s on the pricier side, but very much worth it! I will always recommend Clinique Products to everyone!

The first time I tried that, I found most of the product repelled off the cotton ball and onto the bathroom sink vanity.I must be using the wrong brand of cotton balls...Instead, I carefully do one pump into my hand and use my fingers to lightly spread it all over my face. It feels like youd use a lot more product each time if A. you used 3 pumps and B. you used a cotton ball or cotton pad to wipe it on your face. So, less waste of the product itself and having to buyusetoss cotton ballspads if you just use your hand and fingers. But you do you.Like I mentioned above, I only need one pump of the lotion in my hand and I can easily cover my entire face, under my chin and neck, and have enough to smooth over my ears and the backs of my hands. This lotion is very thin, its not thick at all like other products Ive used. To me, it looks and feels a bit like gelatinous water. Does micellular water feel like this, too Ive never tried it.Also from the product listing information and the reviews, I couldnt exactly tell if I could truly use this as a stand alone face lotion or if this was more of a toner andor if I needed to use this with multiproducts to get my intended outcome. I just want one product I can slick on my face after I get out of the shower or before I got to bed.I have only given this four stars because I havent had it for very long and I dont ritually use is every day morning and night. Its too early to know if this is going to work for me over the long haul. When I have used it, its been fine, but I wouldnt say yet that this is the holy grail of face lotions. Ive used drug store products that have been a lot less expensive and my face felt more moisturized but not greasy after Ive applied them. I honestly didn't notice any appreciable difference except I was paying a much higher price. I've just recently returned to Clinique and I'm so glad I did! The 3 step system is tried and true. Getting into my 30s, I was noticing a lot of changes to my skin. I was looking at myself in the mirror and hating my face. I have rosacea on my cheeks, get a lot of hormonal spots throughout my cycle and have an uneven skin tone due to sun damage. I've tried lots of different lotions and potions and nothing seemed to work. I bought this as part of a duo and noticed changes to my skin within a couple of weeks of using it. Menthol Sensitivity = Red Bumps

After using this product for the first time, my skin was very dry and there were itchy patches all over my face. Later the patches turned into red, itchy bumps. Almost like a mild allergic reaction. So I read the ingredients and I saw that menthol is a pretty substantial amount of the product. If you have a menthol sensitivity/allergy or sensitive skin in general, I would probably skip on this or do a patch test before you use it on your face. Giving it two stars because I definitely should have done my research beforehand and I can still see this working for people with different skin types.
