Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly 125 ml

It was my first time trying a custom personalized blend of moisturizer plus an active cartridge. I paired the Tone Up version of the moisturizer with a fatigue fighting cartridge (orange) The moisturizer delivers an instant rosy glow (as the description suggests) to my face. I've dry skin so the creaminess of the moisturizer works well for me. I'm not sure what effect the cartridge is actually having independently on my face but the overall product combination definitely keeps my face from drying and gives a very nice glow to it all day round. At times I don't even need to layer it with base makeup. Even a pump of it does the job. Got this on sale, and for the results it delivers, I would buy it for full price too.

Falsely Advertise

I have dried skin and have been using First Aid, which works very well but seem pricey. So I thought I tried Clinique, which is more expensive but if it can last me 100 of hydration then it still OK. unfortunately it couldn't even hydrated my face for a few hours. My face would get itchy and red when the hydration is gone, which was what happen a few hours after using Clinique product. I have to put other hydration product a few hours after I use this product so my face can get enough hydrate. If you want good hydration product, use First Aid, which last me at least 12 hours. They smell nice and works long hours. DON'T bother. Clinique is a waste of money. I also bought the yellow one what is advertised to hydrate for 24 hours and it doesn't work. Gloppy mess

My lashes are long but thin. For years, I used to use Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara as a base before using Clinique Lash Doubling. It worked well to separate and gradually build up my lashes. Since they discontinued Naturally Glossy, I switched to this product. It is a mess. It goes on in globs despite my raking the brush against the opening as I pull it out. It clumps my lashes together so that when I put the Lash Doubling on, it looks like I have spider eyes. I have tried using just one layer, but I have to run the brush through a second time to get the globs out which just contributes to the problem. I would not recommend it.

Good for oily skin

I've been waiting to review this product because I just wasn't sure about it. If I could, I'd give it 3.5 stars. Let me start by saying I have very problematic skin. My skin is super dry and easily irritated. A lot of moisturizers exacerbate my skin problems. I chose this because I thought the oil free formula might give my skin the breathing room it needs. Unfortunately, the product is refreshing but not at all moisturising. If my skin is dry and I apply it, my skin still looks dry and flaky a few minutes after application. I use a hyaluronic acid serum under my moisturizer in the evenings, and the hydrating jelly feels a lot like that product. Indeed, hyaluronic acid is one of the key ingredients. If you think of this product as a serum, then its good bang for your buck. Or, if you have oily skin, this could definitely be a good product for you. I've also tried applying it in the morning under my tinted moisturizer which works okay. However, the jelly does leave behind a slightly sticky residue that is more noticeable when other products are added on top. Giving it time to absorb before applying make up or another moisturizer helps.

Hydration Superstar

This moisturizer is as light as water; it literally feels like a splash of water. It's very lightweight, but not short on hydration. It's perfect for everyone, but especially oiler skin types or anyone who wants something that sinks right into skin. Great for high humidity and summer too. Serums and other treatments layer very well over this. I highly recommend this product, as I've never felt anything like this before. It's much lighter in consistency than the DDM Gel, "water-jelly" very accurately describes the texture. I don't think that I will ever stop using this!

I like it a lot

I call this my lazy moisturizer-worry free, light, glow, fresh, cooling. I use it even without toner after a fresh washed face. It's so easy to apply and I even use it under my eyes. It works better the less you try to rub it into the skin, the more it will create a fresh glow. It does leave a light sheen so it IS jelly and not grease. My skin isn't overly dry, I'm 30, have some blemish, not as oily as before but I think this is a good basic everyday product to give your skin some love, some light moisture. It doesn't make your hairline greasy and I used the remaining on my hand directly onto my hair! It can't hurt surely🫣

Left feeling sticky with breakouts

I've always loved Clinique moisturisers, and so when this was recommended to me by a Clinique consultant for the first time, I was really excited to try something new. It felt absolutely amazing when I tried a small amount on my hand in store, but when I got home and started using it properly, I found my skin was left really sticky. I had a few areas of breakouts within the first week, but I put that down to being a new product and hoped it would calm down a bit in due course, but unfortunately it didn't. Perfect for me, but not super strong “hydration”

I made an account just to review this product LOL. So I’ve been using this for the past 3 months and have been loving it! At first, I was combining it with a moisturizer right after and it made my eyes burn (products don’t get in, just fumes and/or scents). I got rid of the moisturizer and boom, burning all gone. However, although I love the product, the “hydration” isn’t very strong. But for me, I only need some hydration after a cleanse. The rest of the hydration, I leave it up to my body. TLDR: Long story short, it’s perfect for some and those who combine it with a light moisturizer. But on its own, not super strong. But I find it perfect as I have a more naturalistic approach to skin care

THE best mascara primer I've ever used.

This product is amazing. Yes, it's white..but that doesn't matter here. It doesn't affect the outcome. The brush is absent Fantastic. I'm able to reach the outer corners of my lashes with ease, AND without stabbing my eye in the process. I'm able to coat every lash with this brush. This primer does not cause any reaction, or irritation. I followed with Clarins mascara and my lashes have never looked so good. Stiletto length, separation, and just the right amount of "oomph". I won't use any other mascara primer. You have to try this. The only downside is the amount is less than a full tube of mascara, but who cares when you have the best product!
