Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum SPF 20 Foundation 30ml CN 90 Sand

Great serum foundation after trying a couple for me. I don’t moisturize normally as I get oily but it oxidizes amazingly smooth! The coverage seems to be a good high medium as I have rosacea and it covers completely! All my redness. Super happy and light weight formula! A little goes a long way and it does not feel cakey! I tend to use soft kabuki style brushes or sponges to ensure it is evenly applied, the texture is runny a bit and light, not heavy. The finish to me is more natural than matte or luminous. I definitely saw a difference in my skin as well after using it as it has special ingredients for the skin. I went to Ulta Beauty to get shade matched so I could buy this Clinique Even Better clinical serum Foundation broad spectrum SPF 25. The Clinique makeup representative that shade matches for Ulta tried their best to help me find a shade in this formula, but unfortunately, I'm too pale. The lightest shade in this foundation has a yellow tint to it, and I am a cool undertone. A lot of light foundations have a yellow or peach undertone that does not go with my skin tone. It was definitely way too yellow. I think Clinique needs to work on this. I bought this foundation 2 months ago in store. As a brown woman, my shade is very hard to match as some foundation goes too yellow, too orange or slightly too light. It is a nightmare to find the correct shade.I have combination skin, dark spots, uneven tone and hyperpigmentation. I have some wrinkles around my eyes and some pores around my nose.I tried this foundation in the shade "sand" and i was absolutely happy because it was an exact match to my skin tone. It covered all my imperfections. BEST FOUNDATION EVER!

Truthfully the best foundation .... EVER! I now know that I am sensitive to fragrance and could never figure out why other foundations always made my skin a bit stingy or itchy. All of the Clinique products are 100% fragrance free and that has been pure bliss for me. A little goes a really long way with this foundation. For daily wear I only need half a pump for my entire face and decollate. If I was going out for dinner or a special event a full pump would be just perfect. This foundation doesn't feel heavy or like you have much on your face at all so to speak, but the coverage is out of this world. I use CN28 shade (bought online from the shade matcher) and it is absolutely perfect. Good foundation but no truly pale & neutral shades

This gives great coverage and you need only a tiny amount, before blending, blending, blending. It's matte and not much glow or sheen, but doesn't look heavy unless you apply too much. Unless your skin is oily you will need a generous amount of moisturiser first or this foundation will look dry.The problem for me with all Clinique foundation is the shade range. They are either 'warm' or 'cool'. I'm blonde/ slightly golden hair but very pale with light green eyes.I bought Breeze a few weeks ago, which is 'cool' but it's quite pink-toned. Why no 'neutral'? I have now had a sample from the Clinique counter of Flax. This is supposed to be 'warm' and more for people with a warm undertone. However, it's considerably lighter than Breeze and is a better match for me.

I think this is a good idea with the serum technology. It goes on feeling cool, and hydrating. Then as it dries down it's a little too dewy, heaving feeling. Even when using a setting powder in my T-zone where I get break through oil. I have maturing, sensitive, acne prone, and some issues with pigmentation due to scaring. I also would like to see Clinique come out with a wider range of shades/undertones. I'm a fair but not too cool or too warm. I have a small bit of Olive and peach to me. It's not enough to be completely warm. Usually I am using one of your cool shades which is either too light or your neutral to warm that are too yellow. (sensitive/normal to dry skin)This foundation is the one I keep reaching for! I use 1 pump to cover my full face and it will give me a medium coverage. If I'm going for a full coverage look for a night out I will use 2 pumps. Best of all this foundation matched me perfectly and did not oxidize. Feels light weight and lasts me ALL DAY, even in the TX heat. By the end of the night I will have a natural looking glow, not greasy looking my any means. I have even worn it to the pool and it did not budge when my kids decided to splash me.Proper skin prep is a must! I've tested it out in 2 ways: a day of doing my normal skin prep & a day of no skin prep just foundation. Terrible

Honestly the worst foundation I have EVER used. My face was cleansed & moisturised ready for foundation, I use a brush to apply and have never had issues, it took me forever to blend this onto my skin you could see brushes lines everywhere, when I did finally sort it, added powder etc it looked amazing well unfortunately it must’ve stayed that way for 2hrs if that! The foundation sank into my pores making it look like my cheeks had braille on them, my fine lines, any sort or crevice it could find my makeup was AWFUL, I have never been so embarrassed out and about with the way it looked, it was like grouping together around my lips making it look like I had crusty skin. The final destination for foundation

This foundation has by far exceeded my expectations. It’s been a long road in finding a foundation that can hold up to my skin, and my career. I have very porous skin from a prior acne problem as a teen and young adult. Foundations have always ended up settling into my skin creating a very blotchy look on my face. Even after primer hit the market, some foundations I had been using would still leave me with an uneven skin tone appearance. I work in the full service restaurant industry so I am always around steam, hot liquids, heat lamps etc.. I never really had a nice even full coverage of my face. She gave me a couple of different color samples to try out so I did. Paired with the universal primer, I had the best coverage to start with. Like all foundations, the coverage really tells its tale after about three hours into the day. At least on my skin anyway. About 5 hours into my shift on my first day wearing it, I brought my powder with me (like I’ve always had to do) to freshen up. I was absolutely beside myself when I looked in the mirror and saw that the only thing that was wrong was that I had a shine. Big deal! I’m a restaurant manager and in my line of work, I am all over the place and in and out of different temperatures. Not a divot, a streak or patch of built up foundation anywhere on my face. I was able to simply pat away the extra shine with my compact powder and go. That was almost 3 years ago. I’ve been a die hard fan ever since! I’ve since changed my primer choice to something else but it’s because the coverage for my skin type had a much light sheer coverage that made the Clinique foundation look even more amazing. However, if browsing through my makeup stock, that is the only thing that one would find outside of the Clinique brand. Even Better Clinical Foundation was formulated for women of let’s say “those who have experienced life longer and finer than others,” it is a superior product that not only has a long term coverage but has ingredients in it that keeps the young at heart looking younger for longer!

Went in to store to see this, spoke to the consultant and explained I wanted something with skincare to help my maturing skin (35), as it's getting drier...did say I didn't like Matt too much and my skin is getting drier. In fairness to the consultant she did try some on me and it looked nice but when I apply it at home it just feels horrible. I see now on the website that it's for combo oily skin-no wonder it is making my face feel unpleasant. It does look great when first applied, I used Clinique moisturiser and primer underneath but a few hours in and it's settled in my pores and I look like my skin is even drier! It also transfers easily.
