If you have sensitive skin and are looking for something that won't irritate you or create razor bumps Clinique for men is the go-to shave cream. At first i was on the fence about the product as i thought he brand was only for women but then i thought if women love it how can bad can the men product line be. well now this is all i use for shaving as it leaves my skin very smooth cool and much softer after shaving. I am very picky when it comes to shaving cream as i dont like my face burning after a shave or itchy due to razor bumps this cream is amazing and i highly recommend it. very top quality

I have very sensitive skin and am very prone to razor burn and razor bumps. I have to shave every day for work so my skin (especially around my neck) was always irritated and inflamed. Didn’t matter what kind of shaving cream or razor I used. I love this product- for the first time I honestly don’t have the redness or burning. I get a very close shave every time. I always thoroughly massage the lotion into my skin before shaving. I use a Gillette ProFusion 5-blade razor, but I also tried the Dollar Shave Club razor and same results. Great product, especially if you follow up with the Clinique for Men Post-Shave Balm.

This is a great and simple shaving cream. I tend to wet my face first then apply the cream so it gets alittle lathered up. There is no fragrance. I normally use this and the Lab Series for Men shaving cream. Also rinsing the razor is easy enough and doesn't clog it. You can still see where your shaving and their is alot of slip so the razar does glide. Highly recommend.

Cream Shave for men

I love cream shave for men and have used it for probably about 30 years. I am 62 years old and am very happy with the Cream Shave product. A few years back Clinique changed the packaging of the cream shave tube to a shorter tube made of stiffer plastic. When you get down to about 25% of the product left in the tube it is very difficult to squeeze the product out of the tube. I really miss the taller softer plastic that you used before. I would think that the majority of your customers who use this product are baby boomers like myself, seeing as most of the Gen X'ers and millennials have beards and only trim from time to time. Us older guys with arthritis in our hands can't squeeze the product out as easily as we did when we were younger. Great Shave Cream, Terrible Package Change

I love Cream Shave. I really do, but I've stopped using it ever since they changed the packaging from the old conventional toothpaste tube style to the nearly unusable short, fat stubby thing they sell today. I had used Clinique continuously since it first came on the market, so they've lost another loyal customer. I have two main gripes about the "new" tube. First, it's nearly impossible to squeeze out the last twenty percent of the contents because the tube is very stout at the neck and the tube top and, unlike the old screw off top, snaps off (and it's hard to snap-the top is just not meant to be removed to squeeze the tube top). Second, as has been well stated buy another reviewer, the new stubby shape is harder to grab in the shower, harder to manipulate with one hand and harder to squeeze out a usable portion. I'll add that I don't think the new shape packs well into a conventional men's dopp style toilet kit. The old tube was easy to use, easy to squeeze, easy to pack and easier to completely empty. Why they changed from the old tube to the new one is beyond me-it certainly did not result in a "better" package. So join me with the other reviewer critical of the package. A competing company with the blue tube still has the terrific old style conventional tube package for its shave cream, and that's where I've moved. The shave cream is not as good as Clinique's, but the package is way better, so much so that I've actually considered trying to find a way to put the Clinique contents into the competitor's empty tube.

It's ok

It's on par with, if not a bit better than other comparable brushless creams like Cremo. To be honest, I may be biased as I've been a traditional shaver using a brush and good quality shaving soaps and creams. I was looking for something to use for those times when I didn't have the luxury of time. For that purpose it works, but it's not as good as a traditional, old school brush and a good shaving soap. The trade off is time and effort. Only you can decide which is more important.

Looks like shaving cream...

This product is lousy. It looks like shaving cream, but does not "behave" lije shaving cream. I use shaving creams, also described as shaving soaps or sapone (Italian for soap) that this product resembles in texture and appearance (it shimmers), but this Clinique product produces almost no lather. Maybe I am using it improperly. Maybe it should be used with a shaving brush with badger hair bristles or by applying to a wet face with towel-dried hands. Men know, this should not be that difficult! I am extremely disappointed with this product for which I held out high hopes. I am a Clinique "groupie" and believe the company makes, arguably, some of the finest, highest qualuty cosmetics products in the world. I will continue to buy Clinique in hoardes, but not this one.

Same but not same & different.

A once colossal favourite when younger & it used to break the bank & kinda still does for shave cream. It used to be a different texture with a fresh aroma & a cool after sensation. Now it's a smaller tube & the feeling is no more. It's still ok, but not dazzling as it once was.

Very Very Good Product!

I am quite long in the tooth now and enjoy using a conventional double edge safety razor, along with a shave brush, with either shave cream or soap. However, pre-shave oils whether home made or off the shelf have never given me the "Holy Grail" of the ultimate shave.Having tried this shave cream, I cannot fault it at all, yet I miss the brush and soap. The compromise had arrived. Clinique Cream Shave does the business for me in an unconventional way. I use it as a pre-shave applying it on top of damp bristles using a thin layer rubbing well onto the face, then apply my choice shave soap or cream. The result is fantastic for me. Rinsing off, then a cold water rinse and pat dry your face. Apply your favourite moisturiser if you need. An excellent result.
