Although I already feel like I have way too many steps in my skin care routine, this one really makes a difference. After cleansing and using my Clarifying Lotion 1.0 (and my skin is still damp), I dab on some of this watery lotion before starting with any serums and full moisturizer. This gives a nice base layer to keep your skin hydrated all day. I need this daily, especially in the winter.

Does exactly what it says on the bottle! I pat a little of this over my face and neck before my moisture surge 100H moisturiser and I've found it makes a noticeable difference in the effectiveness of the 100H. I used to find myself needing to go back for a second application with my 100H, but don't need to anymore by using the lotion first. My skin definitely feels better moisturised and softer. Love it.

i have no idea what reaction my skin had. I use the 72 hour moisture surge and love it!! I've used the Moisture Surge intense gel with moisture bars and loved it!! however, aside the red bumps that did not hurt or turn to pimples??? my skin was plumped and dewy NOT oily and dried matte. So if there are other people with same / similar issues hopefully Clinique can set the formula up for those people?

I stopped using it 20 or so years ago because they only had the original moisture surge at that time, and it wasn't enough of a booster for my very dry skin. My sister worked for Clinique then, and even she couldn't get a good routine figured out for me.I'm now using almost all products in the line in addition to my 3 Step (Very Dry) and smart nighttime for very dry skin (all but eye gel). My skin is *very* dry and sensitive, so I have to do things differently than most (cleanse every other day, rotate products, layer multiple hydrating products, etc). It's watery and not really a lotion as the name implies; it's more of an essence. As others have said, you cannot use this alone-you'll be really disappointed.I tried layering it a few ways and found it worked pretty flexibly. My skin responded well if I used it AFTER anything that contained hyaluronic acid (I can only use in spring/summer--it dries out my skin too drastically). It seemed to provide the extra moisture that the HA tries to attach to when used this way. If not using HA, I use it after Step 2. It works well with sqalane and other serums you pair it with as it helps the others absorb into the skin better ultimately making your products work better. After talking with a Clinique rep, she suggested using it as the last step after my booster moisturizer in order to seal in the moisture. I was surprised that method worked too!!If you've got really dry skin and you're looking for help, try adding this somewhere into your skincare routine. It might work well for you too!!As you can see, you really can use this quite flexibly in your skincare routine if you need extra hydration or moisture. You do need to be aware that it is not intended to be a moisturizer on its own. Like any of the moisture surge products, it needs to be paired with others. I'm able to use this product year round, and I hope they never discontinue it because I'll have to stockpile it like I did the old moisture surge intense formula!! 🤣🤣
I love using this product directly after cleansing but before any other products. It gives a fantastic, lightweight layer of hydration. I then follow with my actives and the moisture surge gel cream. This has really made a noticeable difference and I love this product especially now that winter is here.
I love this hydrator/essence from the first use! I use it after all the actives and before moisturizer. After first use my skin felt smooth, hydrated and plumped next morning. Felt like it took off years of tiredness from my face! The more I use it the more I love it! Already got a backup and thinking to buy more. Never wanna be without it. It's already in my skincare holy grail list!
I've been using this product for about 2 years now. Before I used all the creams, serums, ext that you could buy trying to get my skin to be hydrated. Now I just wash my face, hydrate with the Hydro-Infused Lotion and then apply my dramatically different moisturizer. My skin has never been so smooth.
I love this product. I have trouble with my skin and it gets very dry. I use it with different layers of other Clinique products recommended for dry skin. It is easy to apply when my skin is sore and doesn’t ‘drag’. It provides much-needed moisture and is perfect as my skin base layer.
I first got this in a Clinique set long ago and thought I would never use it. It easily turned it to a must have product for me. I have extremely dry skin and this the perfect first step EVERY time I do my skincare. It adds the moisture back into my face to not feel stiff and helps my other products melt into my skin. I really love this and always make sure I have it :)
I recently received a sample of this product with my order. Tried it and loved how light it is! It makes a very nice night moisturizer as I am someone who really can't stand heavy night creams when I'm trying to sleep. I like it so much, I have been using it under my regular moisturizer during the day!
