Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream - 15ml

A few months ago I received this complimentary pot of Clinique’s new Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream with CL1870 Peptide Complex. I’m a huge Clinique fan and a BIG smiler, so I’m always hunting for exceptional eye creams to fight all that creasing. I have to say, I love this one. I’ve been using the eye cream for several months now, every night and occasionally in the morning also, and my eye area is noticeably firmer. It has a lovely texture that spreads well so a little goes a long way, which is a huge benefit. It’s extremely gentle despite being so effective. Amazing Cream!

This cream definitely fights wrinkles, it made my face look more youthful with less wrinkles and fine lines, it took away my dark circles and puffiness around my eye area and even nourished, moisturized and hydrated my skin. Amazing Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream

I was lucky enough to received Smart Clinical Repair™ Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream as a part of the #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox and have tried it for the past few days. I was happy to receive this product to review and it seems to work great! This eye cream is super hydrating without being greasy. My under eye skin doesn't have that crepiness that I usually get when the seasons change. I like that it actually helps to strengthen the dermal support structure surrounding the eyes. I never tried any Clinique products before so I was elated to finally get a chance to try out their products. I have really been into anti-aging skincare products recently and most people often start by incorporating an eye cream into their skincare regimen. This Clinique eye cream is creamy, but lightweight, slightly thicker than a gel and feels really luxurious on the skin. I must say, I was a little disappointed to receive a sample size, as considering this was a product for wrinkle correction, which would take a while to see results, this small sample really wouldn't highlight the potential of this product and I wasn't able to see any results in that aspect.

FINALLY…I could just cry!

I went to Macy’s to try & find yet another color corrector/under eye concealer that could help cover up my chronic, prominent, dark under eye circles. Pam at the makeup counter was very helpful! She suggested a couple of great products Clinique peach color corrector/concealer & Clinique Smart Clinical Correcting Eye Cream. I came home & really didn’t have high expectations. HONESTLY…I was just wrong! This under eye cream has changed & improved not only the texture (firmer/thicker skin), minimized the depth of the wrinkles/fine lines, but most dramatically reduced my dark circles! I believe by the plumping of my skin the vascular darkness is much less visible! Beyond belief I noticed a difference in 2 days & it continues to improve! Good skincare shelf staple

I tried out this eye cream in conjunction with the other products from Clinique's Smart Clinical Repair line. These products all use some new proprietary peptide complex that Clinique has come up with, to try and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I have some developing crow's feet and fine lines around my eyes in particular. I found that the morning after application, my fine lines looked softer and my concealer applied better. I can't say that this did anything for the growing crow's feet, but I recognize that's a tougher job to do. This cream is also fragrance-free, like the other products in this line, which I appreciate - there were no milia or breakouts, so I'd say this is pretty good for oily skin. Thanks to #TopBox, I received this product to try. While grateful, I do still get mixed feelings when I receive small packets of facial stuff to try because normally, you need to use such products over a period of time in order to see results. Hence, my review will solely be based on approximately 3 days of usage. The Clinique brand overall is affordable, looks pretty and in the past, has worked well for me. I used these products at night only. I do have a Clinique cleanser which I used first, and then I applied the serum, the wrinkle correcting cream and eye cream – in that order. So, for the 3 days at least, whilst I did not notice much difference, my skin did feel fresh and rejuvenated. I received a sample of this product for free from Topbox to test and review. It was a small sample but I was able to stretch it to 4 days of use. Unfortunately, I'm not a super fan of it. I do like that it is basically scent free. The least amount of fragrance ingredients around the eyes, the better in my opinion. It does have a nice, silky feeling to it as well. The problem I found with it was the absorption. It feels like it soaks in really quickly, and obviously, with a makeupless face, you wouldn't notice either way. But as soon as I tried using any concealer under my eyes, the makeup just clung to the area where the eye cream was. It actually accentuated the small wrinkles I have under my eyes and aged my face a bit.
