I'm happy with my results & it looks semi Matt, but a breathable, light weight coverage. If you have better skin then me, then this should DEFINITELY work for you! I had to leave a review coming from an average women, who isnt the best at makeup, & has bad skin. I felt all the other reviews were women with gorgeous skin, so it didnt help me much. So here is my honest opinion, hope it helps someone like me.

I did a full face of makeup after getting ready for the day and I can confidently say I finally found My foundation of choice. The formula has a natural finish, lightweight, easy, buildable coverage (used fingers & sponge for application). I love that it reduces the pores on my cheeks, neutralizes the hyperpigmentation from acne, and reduces the dark circles & vein that runs under my eye, all without the use of a concealer I initially thought I needed. Thanks Clinique for your fantastic formula and helping me create a natural even canvas to explore my makeup endeavors.

Ugh this foundation sits so nicely on my skin. I've had trouble with picking foundations lately. I get super oily through out the day and this foundation still pulls through. I still get a little oily but the foundation looks nice. My only vice is that even though the cool neutrals are labeled as such... they can be super orange. It took me 3 tries before finding the right match and it's still a tiny bit pink. I tried light, and fair before finally landing on alabaster. I have fair but not pale skin with yellow undertones and some redness around my nose. I hope this helps you find your shade! Also Clinique... it's 2022 expand the shade range on this one will ya?

It blurs pores, covers all my blotchy areas, reduces redness, and *most importantly* does not irritate my ultra sensitive skin. No breakouts or clogged pores! It feels weightless too. Lightweight enough for daily wear with a glam finish. (Seriously, I wore this for professional photos and looked almost airbrushed. Not the least bit cakey!) Also looks great over SPF. This is an amazing foundation for mature skin! It goes on flawlessly, doesn't settle into fine lines and gives your skin a healthy glow. It does exactly what it claims. Adds hydration and subtracts oil where needed. I'm 61 and get so many compliments on my skin when I wear this foundation. CN 40 is my perfect match. It goes on beautifully and seamlessly with the Clinique foundation buff brush. Just the right amount of coverage. It looks very natural. I absolutely love this product and I hope it doesn't get discontinued. I've been searching for the perfect foundation for years and finally found it! Thank you Clinique ♥️
Initially, I was content with the Superbalanced formula. It was more runny than my usual foundation but I had run out and this was what I had available. Unfortunately, after repeated use, the skin around my eyes became red, puffy, and sore. I was at a loss as to what would cause it but after contacting my doctor, he said that it was dermatitis probably caused by makeup. I have never had this problem before with any other makeup product, including Clinique ones, but after I stopped using it, the problem area healed. I was disappointed with the results, especially as this is one of Clinique's more expensive formulas. It makes me nervous about buying from them again in the future.
Just a few days ago I would’ve given this foundation 1 star. I bought this because they discontinued the Clinique acne control foundation which I loved and I was looking for a replacement. This product is unfortunately nothing like it. I did make the mistake of using too much product the first few times I tried it and I really hated it. I’ve learned that a little goes a LONG way with this foundation. It also has a nice soft glow to it, but unfortunately just really accentuates my skin texture. Will keep as a backup foundation but won’t be repurchasing.
I liked the consistency of this foundation much better than the Even Better foundation. I'd say it's more light to medium coverage, and goes on very smoothly. It didn't seem to clog my pores, though it did sink into my lines a little bit. I am combo/very oily and it did okay as long as I stayed on top of my oil with blotting sheets. The problem is the color options they have. I have very pale skin and the lightest color they have (CN02 Breeze) is still SO orange and a little too dark on me. I even have to use loose powder over my foundation to help control oil, and my powder is super light but it couldn't hide the orange. They need more shades and definitely more neutral ones on the fair side.
I love Clinique products but this product truly surprised me by how STUNNING it is. It's such a beautiful, lightweight foundation that truly enhances your skin rather than covering it. I can totally see this being my new holy grail all year, because it's lightweight enough for summer but seems buildable for when I want a little more coverage. The finish is neutral to matte, which was a pleasant surprise because the dewy finish of some other products can be a little too much for me at times. The only con of this product (and I really mean the only issue) is that it's a glass bottle that needs a pump and might get a little messy if not stored upright, but I love it so much that I'm ordering a backup and giving it five stars. If I could give it more stars, I would.
