I know makeup wipes are bad, bad, bad. But they have their uses. And these are the best for not messing up my skin. I use these for 1) removing makeup right before a workout, so I don’t have to do a full cleanse, 2) I almost never wash my face in the morning, but I’m oily, and sometimes a light swipe of this will make it possible to get on with my skincare, 3) swiping before reapplying SPF if my face is oily and disgusting and layered with hours worth of SPF reapplications, 4) taking off face mask-treatments (like Babyfacial), 5) quickly rescuing makeup disasters. These are perfect for doing all of those things while never stripping or irritating like almost all other makeup wipes. Obviously, not great as the only cleanser you ever use, but fantastic for the above.

Wipes are no substitute for cleanser and water washing BUT there are two occasions where I’ll break this rule. 1) an extremely late night out of town in a hotel where I may not was at all (mortal skincare sin) if it weren’t for a wipe or 2) in addition to good cleanser and water cleansing, I need a boost to remove ALL remnants of my eye make up from all crevices without irritating my sensitive eyes. This wipe fits both bills perfectly with zero break outs and zero sensitivity. It works well with the rest of my skin care regimen and just downright feels good on my skin. It’s the best wipe on the market in my opinion.

These use to be my tried true makeup wipe! I’ve repurchased numerous times and always loved them. The last two packages i’ve bought (from two different stores) have both irritated the heck out of my eyes. I even use a liquid makeup remover to get off most my eye makeup first. Lately these are hardly taking what’s left off. They have been so dry and feel so rough. I just opened my package yesterday so I know they are not dried out. Even then I always completely seal it flip it over when i’m storing them. I do not have sensitive skin but proceed with caution if you are sensitive.

I don't have sensitive skin by any means and have always been a HUGE Clinique fan. I've bought these before and loved them. I use take the day off and I think it's the best makeup remover. I don't know if you frequently change what's in these or buy off brands and label them as your own but after using them I had a HORRIFIC reaction. Bumps and hives and lumps all over my eyelids, cheeks, nose. The reaction lasted for three weeks and I had to get steroid creams and antibiotics to take it away. I never imagined it was these and just didn't use them one day and suddenly my face instantly cleared. After two days of discontinuing the rash completely went away. I read more reviews today and saw several people had the same adverse, horrific reaction. I was a bit skeptical when I first got these, since as an esthetician I tend to really dislike wipes. I did get this as an easy way to wash my face on the road during a cross country road trip, and not as a way to remove makeup. It’s fragrance and alcohol free so it’s super gentle and doesn’t strip the skin at all, and very travel friendly, especially if your go to cleanser is usually a bottle of micellar water and cotton pads. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this was able to get my face after a full day on the road! Very effective cleansing wipe!I also use this in addition to a cleansing oil or cleansing balm to remove makeup, and I’ve found that combination to be very effective and gentle! No heavy harsh wiping necessary if you combine this with a cleansing oil.For what I use it for, it gets five stars but i say four since most would want this as a makeup remover and that is not quite its strong suit.
A sales associate in store recommended these wipes and swore by them. Wouldn't show me any other makeup wipes. These irritated and burned my skin. The area around my eyes were raw, swollen and reddish purple looking. These didn't even take off my makeup that well. I had to use several wipes before washing my face with my cleanser. The wipes are small and thin. Sales associate claimed they were so big you can cut them in half, and so sensitive you could touch your eyeball.
I was wanting to buy some wipes to clean my makeup off at the end of the night. Some days when I get home from work, I'm just so tired to do anything. These wipes get everything off my face, even my eyeliner with the glue in it for my eyelashes. The girl at Ulta had me use them to remove the foundation I was trying on and without her even knowing, she definitely sold the product. As soon as she walked away I went and grabbed a pack of them! I will continue to purchase these in the future because they work so well!
This is good for eye makeup remover. A lot of people say they prefer the oil and the wipes burn but I'm in the opposite camp. The oil gets in my eyes and stays there. These wipes are really thin. If you're looking for all over face cleansing go with Clinique's makeup balm. It takes everything off in seconds. To clean my whole face with this with just a basic layer of makeup takes 4-5 wipes. If you want a quick and easy eye makeup removal though go for the wipes. I cut mine in half, fold them and will press on my eyelid for a minute or two so it has time to work it's magic and then gently wipe the mascara and eyeshadow away. It's worth the price if you know how to use them right and if it's just for your eyes.
Other than neutrogena which is a little more price friendly, these are by far the best wipes I've used. There's a weird scent that I actually really like. It's a non-scent scent, if that makes any sense. If you wanna try them out Ulta has them at the sample stations for whenever you wipe off testing makeup. That's how I even found out about them. The wipe size is fairly decent and my makeup (which was I'd say light-medium build) cleared right off. That said, if you wear heavier makeup the story MAY be different! For me, it's a bop!
I thought I’d splurge a bit more on some wipes to see if they’d be any better than random ones I buy on a whim at drug stores, but there’s nothing special about it. Yes it removes makeup but it’s not that moist and there’s nothing special about it compared to anything else. And the reason I have to put 1 star is purely for the awful packaging, I have no idea how this got approved. It’s so hard to get a single wipe out without pulling out another 5 and having to shove it back into the hard plastic opening.Tldr not worth the price, average quality, bad packagingAlso disappointing since it was the first one I was recommended to buy when I asked about buying makeup wipes when I went into mecca
