I've installed heaps of these alarms and they are real easy to install and connect. You just have to be careful with the switch at the back. That first time I installed one, the plastic arm broke off as I was turning it on. I got a replacement easy enough from my supplier though and the rest of the install was easy. Highly reccomend.

I purchased 6 of these alarms for a rental property to make it compliant with the rules coming into effect in Queensland in 2022. They came recommended by professionals and the brand reputation is good. Installation and pairing of the interconnected alarms was easy. I did encounter a problem with 2 of the alarms however in that the internal on/off switches fell off making the alarms useless as they are sealed units. Clipsal customer care was very helpful and arranged a very quick replacement of the faulty units by their local agent who also installed the new ones and tested the system.
