Clover Soft Touch Crochet Hook

Clover Soft Touch crochet hooks are my absolute favorites. I tried several other hooks before I tried the Soft Touch, and while they got the job done, they also left my hands sore. These Clover Soft Touch hooks fit perfectly in my hand and feel comfortable. I'm able to not only crochet for a long time with them in one sitting, but I can also use them for tight amigurumi stitches without putting stress on my hands. I have a whole set of these hooks, and they all have the same great quality.

I think, no matter if you start or you work with yarn years, these hooks are pleasure to hold and work with. I have used many crochet hooks and these ones I always use.I already have full set and some if them even double from your website. Never had problem, fantastic and comfortable to use.

I have several of these and they are incredible. The yarn just glides off them and they're so comfortable to use, however I do prefer the clover amor handles which are more grippy and ergonomic for larger projects like blankets. The hook itself on here is like butter!

Nice durable ergonomic crochet hooks. Very smooth and the yarn glides effortlessly. Also very comfortable to hold and crochet for long periods of time. I got it for $6.99 so the price was good too!

Good enough for what it actually is

Because of the name and the way it was packaged to prevent feeling the handle, I thought this would have a similar rubber handle to other ergonomic hooks. This handle is NOT in any way “soft”, it is a hard plastic resin. It has a seam running the length and bottom that is painful to have rub against the palm, I had to sand it smooth. It does have one small patch of rubber, but it only provides grip, it does not soften how the handle feels.For a plastic Hook, this is nice enough after a little sanding, but if you expect something similar to Boye Ergonomic handles or Clover Amour, you will be disappointed.

If you have small hands

I have small hands, these have made a world of difference to my crochet. I did buy another very good quality brand and there is nothing wrong with them apart from the fact that they are a bit long. The handle on these was a bit odd at first as Im used to a round handle but I quickly got used to it. I do think they are a bit pricey but all clover products are.

Nice, but small

I really had high hopes for this one! The hook is nice and the yarn glides over it with no problems. My issue is that the handle is very small. I don’t have large hands (size M for gloves) and it is just swallowed my my hand. I will probably use it for quick projects that have a simple stitch/pattern. If the handle was 25% bigger, it would be perfect.

There actually is a difference between a cheap hook and a higher priced one

These hooks... are kind of amazing. Recommended after you understand how to do basic beginners stitches - because you should be comfortable with how you hold your hook. The great thing about this is that the yarn slides easily but not *too* easily - you can actually 'sense' the slight slide of the yarn on the hook, but it doesn't go zipping off like you dipped it in grease. The glide makes the stitches fairly effortless, so it's great for the more expensive yarns where pulling/yanking will wreck the yarn (ie: It's not about to easily sproing back into shape). The flatness of the handle with the little soft-button for the thumb makes the grip easier (distribution of pressure) but not more cumbersome (very light and doesn't add significantly to the weight of the ... MoreThese hooks... are kind of amazing.
