Clubman Pinaud Styptic Pencil Travel

I have used these over 40 years. Great for small cuts. A dear friend recently had to start taking a blood thinner. Now has a little more bleeding when cut. Bought it for her.

30+ Years and still working!

I bought this sometime in the early 1990s as a teenager when I first started shaving. I still have the exact pencil today! That is how long it lasts. It stops the bleeding just as advertised. I recommend this to all men who still shave the "old-fashioned" way.

A must have

I don't need styptic pencil every time I shave but when you accidentally nick yourself shaving you can't beat it. Stops the bleeding quickly, much quicker than a piece of balled up toilet paper so you can get done shaving quick. I always have one on hand just in case

Great For Big Nicks and Cuts

The Styptic pencil disinfects and stops blood flow from a severe nick or cut when shaving, or from any small cut gotten around the house or camping in woods. Just wet the stick and apply.I usually use alum first on a nick. but if that doesn't work. I then go for the Styptic pencil which definitely stops the blood flow much better than alum. Though the Styptic pencil does leave a white powder on the wound, which alum usually doesn't.I opine that it's a must have for any wet shaver who likes using straight or double edge razors, and it could be very handy in anyone's first aid kit.

Great Service

I used this product for 61 years. Other products don't work as good as these do. Had a hard time finding them, drove all over. Finally I went on line at Walmart and had them overnight.Thank you Walmart, will use your on line service again for sure.

I get a much better shave with a blade r...

I get a much better shave with a blade razor but leave more blood laying around. This stuff stops the bleeding with enough sting to remind you to be more careful next time.

Still a great product .. the Styptic Pencil ..

These things have been around forever, but they're getting hard to find in your typical drug store. They simply work .. and when you have a nick that wants to keep bleeding ... these styptic pencils do the trick. Simply wet them, and rub it on the cut. The bleeding stops. They last a long time, and they're easy to carry. I wonder why everyone doesn't choose to keep them, given how cheap they are, and how easy they are to use and to "carry".

This product is designed to stop the bleeding on small cuts you get while shaving both for men and women. however I find that it is an excellent first aid tool for small cuts for children because it just takes a little application of the styptic pencil to your skin it stops the bleeding instantly. simply sanitize by rinsing with water and a sanitizing wipe after using on anyone other than yourself. for yourself simply rinse it off with water and dry it put it away in the little tube that it comes in.I wish Walmart carried this item in their stores instead of having to order it.

Treats Small Cuts From Shaving

I am glad I found this online because it was not available at the store. This is for my husband, who has been asking me to buy for him. It works for him a long time ago. He hadn't any for a while. We are glad he has one now to treat the small cuts from shaving.

Works well, but to expensive now

Had to order these because no one locally sells them anymore, including WM, where I got them from last time a few years ago. I alternate between a manual razor and electric razor, so don't need the styptics that often, so they last quite a while. So this 3 pack with free shipping was the best deal without having to buy a bunch, and should last me years. They work better when new, as my old used one was pretty dried out and wasn't stopping the blood flow very well, had to hold it on the cut for a while. The new stick works like I remember, pretty quick, and you don't have to wet it forever to get it to work. Only complaint is the cost. These used to be like $2.50/2.98 in the store for a pair. The big fat stick is a better deal, but it's too fat to use well for small nicks, and the end gets flatter with use and makes it messier to dab where you need it. The pencil ones are the way to go unless you constantly have big cuts for some reason.
