A quality yarn at a very reasonable price!
I've used Red Heart yarn for years on most of my knitting and crocheting projects and never been disappointed. When you're going to put a lot of time and work into a project you want to use the best quality you can get. Scarves, baby blankets, ornaments - you name it and you can use Red Heart for it. It comes in a huge variety of colors and has a large number of variegated colors as well. It works up soft, is machine wash and dryable and my projects have lasted for years, especially the blankets. I crocheted a queen-sized bed blanket for my son this year at his request and used Red Heart yarn. He absolutely loves it. He says it's warm without being heavy and it washes great. He has 2 dogs that sleep with him so it gets washed on a regular basis. I always use the ... badly mismatched tie-offs
i bought the super saver jumbo stripes in the parrot color and was troubled by all the tie-offs. the colors at the tie-off were like the dark burgandy color to the bright yellow or the light green to the darker shade of purple. there was no blending. i was making a small bag to carry a phone so the way the colors fall makes a big deal. i had to cut the yarn and pull yarn out to get to a color that would blend. such a waste of time! i can only imagine what this would look like in an afghan or other larger project! so disappointed in red heart.... Came earlier than expected , service was great
I have brought from here before and I knew that I would get good service. The yarn itself was almost exactly as I expected it to be but ….. and this is by no fault of Craft2u the dye lot on my Red Heart yarn was so different from the other two I already had that I had to alter the blanket I was making. I wish the yarn company’s would keep to the same or as close to the same, they usually do but this dye lot was so different it almost could be passed as a different colour way.I would however buy Red Heart again. It’s nice to work with. The two skeins I brought are the weaving on the blanket as it was to noticeable. However the other yarn I brought looks fantastic and I can’t wait to knit it up. Thank you.... Does this have wax on it?
I bought 6 skeins of this yarn. I was so excited to start my new project. I ordered this online and picked it up in my local store. I was so disappointed when I got home. I should have looked at it when I was in the store. It's like it's got wax on it. It's almost like shoe strings. It's so stuff. I decided to give it a try anyway. It was like pulling leather. I don't know how else to describe it. I wanted it to work so badly. I just don't know what's going on with it. I thought maybe it was just that one I was working with, so I touched all the others, and they are all like that. I'm befuddled. I'm taking it back to the store today. I wish sharing a photo would be helpful, but I don't think it would be. The colors are beautiful and vibrant, just like I wanted. The ... MoreI bought 6 skeins of this yarn. The texture is like something I have never seen. While working with it I could even seen whatever was coating it, I swear it's wax. I know it's acrylic yarn, but that doesn't even explain the texture of this yarn. I was even thinking that maybe I'll make this a rug, but it was not bringing me joy to even work with. So disappointed.... Show more

Favorite Stripes SPOTS ALL OVER on 3 shipments
The Favorite Stripes from the store was perfect (Made in USA). The Favorite Stripes bought via Walmart.com is full of errors and spots, making the yarn look dirty. They also have fuzzy spots. Every 18 to 30 inches had a big noticeable error, too many to cut out. This is true of three different shipments with different date codes. These were made in India, some made in Mexico. 12 jumbo skeins in all. More on the way I will have to return. All the solid colors I purchased at Walmart online are Made in Turkey, and are just fine.... Show more

Nice yarn, great color!
I was leery of buying yarn online. Thought for sure my order would be screwed up with buying a large supply of 3 different colors! But it was packaged nicely, delivered on time and Super Saver Jumbo 10oz skeins are great at Walmart. Ordering online GUARANTEES you will get from the warehouse all of what you need for your projects. Better than buying at the store, which sometimes doesnt have enough skeins and then youve got dye lot problems ( another good thing about Walmart Super Saver yarn...no need to mess with dye lots, they all match and easy to get more if needed!) I love having it all delivered to me at home, so i can jump right into my crocheting! Great prices for 4 10oz skeins too!Highly recommend!!!!... Show more

Red Heart Yarn is Consistently Good Quality
My mother taught me how to crochet when I was 5 years old, 65 years ago; she always used Red Heart Yarn only, and I learned that from her too. Recently, my Darling Granddaughter asked me to make her some bikini-style bra tops she'd seen online, to wear while we were camping and swimming this summer; I told her of course, but she'll have to choose and buy the yarn for them. She did, it was this Red Heart; I thought I'll give it a go, see what happens.Working with this yarn is a dream, as with all Red Heart colors; it does not split the strands when it's not supposed to, and my hooks glide easily through the loops. It's a very strong yarn, very dependable, no pieces of fluff come off like some cheaper brands, is colorfast, the colors repeat at regular intervals that ... My Granddaughter is VERY happy to show off her new bra tops too!!... Show more

Very good, consistent yarns that I've been using .
For some 'yarn snobs' I've seen online, they turn their noses up at this brand; my mother used Red Heart and I've been using it for 50 years, never had any problems! The shading and variations in this color called 'Latte' is beautiful, and the fibers are perfectly even with no thick or thin spots and no knots in my skeins after using up about a dozen of this color. I like to use this %26 other multi-colored yarns by pairing them with a solid color, and making caps for children to wear on the coolest snowy days; I make them with and without eye skits for more warmth. I box and ship them off to my grandmother's Reservation, where they are well-received and worn. I also like to make cowls, scarves, thinner single-strand hats, gloves, mittens fingerless gloves, ear ... wonderful!!!!!
I love the yarn,Red Heart is my go-to yarn has been for many years. The one thing that really bothers me about red heart is they hardly ever leave enough yarn at the end to know how to start the skein. I am 80 years old and little things really help me. finding the start of the yarn is a big deal to me as I do not see as well as I did years ago. I would love to see this happen. Red Heart is the only "true" 4 ply yarn I have found since all the new yarns have evolved. If you could help with this I would be ever so thankful. As always Walmart. You are my favorite store for anything I need. thank you so much.Bobbie... Show more

Wrong items
I ordered 8 jumbo sized (10oz) Redheart Supersaver skeins of yarn. They were supposed to be “Neon Stripes” color way. The carrier chosen for shipment was Fedex. They are the worst! It took me calling their support line twice and Walmart support once, to get the actual delivery. That’s a whole other story though. I wish Walmart would let you know who was handling the shipping because if it’s Fedex I don’t care how good of a deal it is, I wouldn’t order it.After the ridiculous shipping situation I finally got my order. When I opened the box though there were 3 skeins of 5 oz Redheart supersaver yarn in color way “Primary Stripes” and 3 skeins of 5 oz Redheart supersaver in white. I was so done with the entire situation at this point. I boxed it back up and drove ... MoreI ordered 8 jumbo sized (10oz) Redheart Supersaver skeins of yarn. I was so done with the entire situation at this point. I boxed it back up and drove straight to my local Walmart. They returned my money and I went back to their craft section where I was able to find the correct yarn. It was $1 more per skein and they only had 5, but at least it was the correct item.I made sure that I chose Walmart as the retailer because I’ve had issues with their other sellers. This said the retailer was Walmart but on the shipping label was a seller I’ve never heard of.Other than a poor choice in carriers and not being 100% honest about whom I was buying the yarn from, Walmart support was very helpful and polite. The return was also relatively easy, even though it was a huge waste of time. I don’t think I can order anything else online from Walmart. It’s not worth the headache.... Show more
