I’ve been using this Collagen powder daily for many months, and I really do believe that it is helping my hair, skin and nails. I’m 73 years old, and people do not believe that I’m that old. I have very few wrinkles on my face and a great complexion. My hair is thick and my nails are strong and grow like crazy. I truly do believe it’s very important to take a collagen supplement as we grow older, and this marine supplement is the best.

I literally cannot go a day without this product. I have used Code Age Wild Caught Marine Collagen Powder for more than two years. I forgot to re-order last month and ended up 10 days without. On the fifth day my joints ached so badly, especially my hip where arthritis is diagnosed. It took about two weeks back on it for the joint pain to go away completely.I initially started using this product for bone strengthening when I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. Two subsequent dexa scans have improved significantly. I can’t make medical claims and say there is a direct correlation but it is a fact and my experience. Again, these are my own experiences and the reasons why I will make sure I never run out again!

For a long time, I didn't know what to eat to make it enjoyable rather than compulsive. Until I came up with this recipe: banana + rice milk + fish collagen + inositol. Delicious and super healthy too!The size and other properties of fish collagen make it easier to digest and more bioavailable than its counterparts from other sources. It is composed of type 1 collagen and also contains significant amounts of glycine, proline and hydroxyproline.Fish collagen is a better choice than bovine collagen for any digestive tract complaint or autoimmune disease, or in diets that seek to avoid the consumption of mammals.

I prefer marine collagen than collagen from bovine/cows as it tends to have a better taste. Codeage is the only brand which has a transparent clear liquid instead of a milky texture when mixed with water. I love that it does not contain any form of sweeteners like maltodextrin or erythritol or fillers such as silica. Love it very much!
I had been using bovine collagens for a couple of years (Zint, Neocell, etc.), and they were ok taste-wise. I usually added them to soups and things I cooked. I decided to give marine collagen a try and chose this brand. I like it a lot. I put it in my coffee. I read a couple of complaints about clumping, so decided to try putting a little cold water in the bottom of a bowl, and sprinkling the collagen over it like you would with gelatin. I works really well. Stir it around. Give it a minute. It will dissolve. It’s nice in coffee, actually … seems to kind of smooth out the acidity. I can’t speak to differences in my skin yet as I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks. Generally, though, I think I do notice a positive difference in skin and hair when I take ... MoreI had been using bovine collagens for a couple of years (Zint, Neocell, etc.), and they were ok taste-wise. I have almost finished my first tub. There seems to be a slight improvement in terms of hair loss during my daily hair-washing routine. Some hairs along the hairline above my forehead have grown back. My skin elasticity has also shown some improvement (I also use body lotion daily). The improvement doesn't happen overnight but is incremental and accumulative over a period of time, so you need to take collagen regularly. I add a scope to my morning coffee daily and it has become a routine for me. This collagen doesn't alter the taste of my coffee. I had tried a Japanese brand of marine collagen before trying this tub. The Japanese brand seemed to show faster results but was twice as expensive.
I have tried different collagens over the years. Mostly beef collagen, like Great Lakes. Honestly, I wonder if collagen is really helping me so I will stop and do a wash out period to see if I feel any different. I usually don't. I have been reading alot about marine collagen. I worry that the beef collagen is not really pure grass fed/finished. I have tried other Codeage products and I like their products, they seem to use higher quality. First of all, this collage is a very fine powder, so fine that it will get everywhere if your not carefully. Second of all, it doesn't dissolve right away so don't be surprised. I think that is a good sign, means it is really like a gelatinous collagen substance. I put mine in hot coffee in the morning and it clumps up at first. I think that is a good sign, means it is really like a gelatinous collagen substance. I put mine in hot coffee in the morning and it clumps up at first. I have to stir for a long time and then I use my Ninja coffee frother to get it to completely dissolve. It takes time but I'm okay with that. I don't think this would dissolve very well in a cold beverage unless you work with it. If it's added to a blender then I I think it will be fine. I have been using it for two weeks and I feel like I can tell a difference. My nails are growing very fast and they are stronger. Hoping it will help strengthen my brittle weak hair too.
I've only been using this product for a little over a month now. The powder is easy to dissolve in a glass of water and has little to no taste or smell. I cant tell if it is working but I can say my skin already feels a bit less dry, so hopefully this trend will continue and I'll know it's not a coincidence! My only complaint is that this past order took over 4 weeks to arrive in Hawaii. Must have been on a slow boat!
I've been using wild caught marine collagen peptides powder for a few months now. My skin is definitely better from it. I have naturally dry skin, worse in the winter. My skin is usually flaky and crepey. After using this collagen my skin is quite a bit softer and smoother than before.
Codeage Wild-Caught Marine Collagen Peptides Unflavored is a dietary supplement produced by Codeage. It is formulated to provide the benefits of collagen peptides sourced from wild-caught marine fish. Collagen is a protein that is naturally found in the skin, bones, and connective tissues of animals, including humans.Marine collagen peptides are derived from fish, such as cod, pollock, and haddock, and they are known to contain type I collagen, which is the most abundant type of collagen in the human body. Collagen peptides are hydrolyzed, meaning they are broken down into smaller peptides to enhance their absorption and bioavailability.
