I'm not a fan of hazelnut. even though I don't like this stuff, I still have tried it many times and I want to leave my honest review and my opinion. doesn't mean my opinion is all that matters. so I don't like how strong of a flavor this is, its way too sweet, strong flavored, you put too much in your coffee, its way too overwhelming. the smell makes me sick and hazelnut creamers always have. you can smell it across the house, no joke lol. my husband likes it sometimes and my oldest who is 15 likes it but I don't unfortunately. I do love the price because its cheap even though its a gigantic jug.

When I feel like having my coffee a little sweeter I will use coffee creamer! This is super sweet though so be careful how much you add haha!! Just a bit has my coffee tasting delicious and gives it that extra yummy sweetness! I do love this hazelnut flavor and any holiday flavors like pumpkin spice. The texture is not too thick, the scent is Amazing!! The packaging pretty much always looked the same or at least similar haha! My mom has always enjoyed this coffee creamer so I started my love for coffee and this creamer with my mom.

Hazelnut flavor creamer is my favorite. I use it with my coffee every time. My boyfriend picked up a bottle a couple of days ago so I can take some for our trip. I noticed the lid changed. The old bottle and the new one don’t fit into each other. That was not a surprise because companies change their packaging all the time. I made coffee yesterday and I noticed it tasted nothing like the hazelnut flavor creamer I was used to. I kept asking my boyfriend if he bought the same flavor and he swears he did. I don’t remember seeing another flavor on the new bottle but just to make sure he didn’t make mistake. Today I tried a different brand of coffee just to see if it was the coffee that messed up the flavor but same thing, no hazelnut flavor! 1st.. yes this is offered as 2 big huge bottles for $20 but also has a ONE bottle selection so make sure you have the 2 PACK selected to be sure you're getting 2. Always double check your cart three "quantity" and details of what you're paying for. Pictures on these sites are always misleading. Also you MUST be aware that this is not CREAMY OR LIGHT in ANY WAY. If you like dark coffee, this will be good for you or if you're still going to use ANOTHER cream but if you like it LIGHT you're looking for tips to be THE CREAMER... it's not going to work. If you've ever used the Torani hazlenut syrups .. THAT'S exactly what it looks like.. maybe a bit clearer. It's a CONCENTRATE but not more concentrated in LIGHTNESS or flavor. If you've ever used the Torani hazlenut syrups .. THAT'S exactly what it looks like.. maybe a bit clearer. It's a CONCENTRATE but not more concentrated in LIGHTNESS or flavor. I BARELY taste the gazlenut and STILL gotta use another creamer because this is more a SYRUP than creamer. It's not to be refridgerated...it says it right on the bottle but if you're still going to put it in the fridge then be aware how tall the bottle is and then add height for the pump. Since its more just a syrup then creamer I leave mine out even tho it does fit in my fridge .. it's a syrup, not cream and all my syrups are out. They get thicker when refrigerated. In conclusion - if you like the creamiest, hazlenut FLAVOR and don't like DARK coffee then this isn't really the creamer to get cuz you're STILL gonna need milk or another cream every day making this pointless. Mine was damaged in shipping...I think it had been left in a HOT vehicle causing swelling of the container... the box was destroyed but I really wanted it so I bought it at a store in person...I do NOT recommend and in fact did a video on this for my channel so people can SEE exactly what it looks like coming out pump and in coffee. It's LIGHTER than my Torani SUGAR FREE hazlenut SYRUP, SAME texture but LESS hazlenut taste. Now those regular bottles of coffee mate hazlenut liquors creamer are PERFECT. Adds just the right amount of lightness, creaminess and taste. I always used the powder creamer in my HOT coffee until I began driving more iced coffee. Been obsessed w the dunkin cold brew , the REGULAR bottles of coffee mate hazlenut creamer and a little milk. PERF. This was a HUGE disappointment- pun intended.
I have been a loyal fan of the powdered Hazelnut flavor for years. It’s been my go to creamer for all my coffee needs! Every time I get groceries, I am picking up a bottle or two (as we go through it often and there is no larger size). However, with the new packaging (clear plastic container), something is off with the formulation. I don’t know what has been changed, but it’s awful quality — far from what I’ve grown accustomed to over the years from this brand. The last 4 bottles I have bought of the new packaging (yes, 4!), every single one has created this awful thin film that forms on top of the coffee as soon as it dissolves, and it’s a very chunky film that sticks to the sides of the cup, lips, and even teeth when taking a sip — extremely disgusting. My coffee is hot, so it’s not a temperature issue. It doesn’t matter how much I stir the product, either. It still forms. At first, I thought maybe we just purchased an old batch from our local grocery store … until I bought 2 new bottles from a completely different store in a separate city. Same exact problem: a layer of film forms. Then, I thought maybe it was my coffee? Went through several different brands, tried a few k-pods/single serve method, went back to the classic drip brew method, I even ground up my own coffee beans I had recently purchased — that’s how much this has bugged me. Nope. The coffee I made was perfectly fine. Consistent temperatures. In fact, to further prove it has something to do with the new packaging/formula, I found a bottle of the old packaging at a Dollar General store. I bought it and used it — didn’t form a film. Instead, it dissolved into the coffee just as it always did prior and even tasted much better. Very little stirring required. It had a much more rich Hazelnut flavor that I was used to with this brand … and that’s an older bottle. The other flavors aren’t doing this, so it’s something with the Hazelnut one.Did another quick test with the new bottle I had with the new packaging, and the taste is definitely off and a disgusting film formed.I am including a photo of that cup to show how the film has formed and began separating into CHUNKS. I don’t even pour much creamer into my coffee, so it shouldn’t be doing that, no?I’ve tried pouring it in before the coffee goes into the cup and it still forms a film.I’ve tried pausing my coffee machine as it’s brewing and pouring it in once the cup is half full of coffee, then unpause and let it continue to mix it in. Still forms a film.Doesn’t matter how much I stir in the creamer, the film forms and then breaks up into chunks.I have ruined so many good cups of coffee, wasting product just to make this work. Please, go back to the old formula if it was changed. You all had been consistent for years, giving us the same great taste we could depend on, but as soon as the new packaging came along … something is different and it’s extremely noticeable. This had been a staple in my cupboard for years, but now I’m having to try and find an alternative from a different brand. Please, go back!
This creamer is nothing like I get at the grocery store. It's supposed to be concentrated, not totally different. It takes at least 4 full squirts just to get the same color as I like. However, it tastes very bitter and requires sugar. I find I need to put at least 2 heaping tsp into my cup to mask the bitterness...I have not used sugar in my coffee since flavored creamers came on the market. Even with the sugar it tastes nothing like the normal coffeemate hazelnut creamer. I will definitely NOT purchase this again, nor will I suggest this to anyone. I would Definitely Not recommend this product.
The consistency of this creamer is MUCH thicker than it has been in the previous pitchers we've bought. Now, whenever we pour this creamer into any mug of coffee, the creamer sinks straight to the BOTTOM of the mug. It doesn't matter if I stir while I pour, I still can't get an even distribution. The result? The majority of sips I take of my coffee don't taste sweetened AT ALL! Then, once I get to the bottom of my mug, all of that coffee is so sickeningly sweet. At the end, I feel like I just drank 5 tablespoons of nothing but sweetened condensed milk. I should have known something had changed when I was adding the same amount I had in the past and my coffee still wasn't changing much in color the way it had before. It's truly disappointing how a once favorite ... MoreThe consistency of this creamer is MUCH thicker than it has been in the previous pitchers we've bought. I knew something wasn't right with the Hazelnut creamer in the pump bottle this last time I bought it. I just finished a bottle of it, and that bottle (and every other bottle of it I'd ever had) contained creamer that came out white when you pumped it. Now, the creamer is kind of a translucent, yellow-ish, oily looking color. And when I lick the spoon after stirring my coffee after pumping the creamer, something doesn't quite taste right. To be fair, after that, the coffee tasted about how I was used to it tasting, but I'm still thrown off by the change in formulation. And I called Nestle, and they confirmed that the formula changed and that that also changed the appearance of the creamer to what I'm seeing now. I'm including a photo of what it looks like now (pumped into a white paper bowl).
Unfortunately Nestlé Coffee Mate Hazelnut whitening pods have been deleted from most Ausie supermarkets in the last 2 years and I was devastated. I have been using Iherb to buy Melatonin gummies for the kids when I wondered if I could find the Hazelnut whitener here and to my surprise I have. Having it in the big bottle is awesome as I can adjust how much I add to my coffees and have since bought another bottle so I could leave one at work. it tastes amazing and I found there is also a zero sugar option here on Iherb too! Highly recommend.
