Very easy to use and refill. If you tighten the screws to the max it gives you the finest grind Ive ever seen in a grinder which is fantastic for kids who dont like to find pepper flakes in their food but can be easily adjusted back for everyones preferences. I love that is 2in1 - therefore saves space in the cupboard, although it looks so good, much more expensive than it is- can be showcased on the kitchen counter. I had loads of grinders which annoyed me. This is the best so far. I only had it for 2 weeks. Time will tell how it holds up

We now really like the mill and how easily the salt and pepper can be ground, and like the convenience of having the salt and pepper in the one mill and the quality appearance. We did however have a slow start learning how to use it because the product directions both in the item's accompanying booklet and on the Cole & Mason website lacked enough detail. We worked it out in the end!

Product arrived in good time and works well so far. Still tinkering with the coarseness settings to dial in the grain size I like. As with all these devices they are plastic and when used in the cooking process can get a little grubby on the outside, so keep it clean with a soft cloth and warm soapy water.

I saw this and instantly liked it,mentioned it to my wife as a possible Christmas gift to me,and was pleased I did,love the fact it can change from course to smooth grind,and as for the finding it difficult to refill,never has it been so easy and finally a shaker that you don’t have to open with a knife end or spoon handle.A small amount of patience a little turn and this opened up easily.To screw back together a little common sense to gently blow any excess pepper or salt away from the threads,then taking a little care screw back together.SimpleEasyStylishAll in oneWould buy again !

We bought this because I was fed up with cheaper versions not working. like the ability to change from fine to course, however, I cannot take it apart to refill? Expensive mistake. I welcome any positive help especially from the manufacturer?
Don't waste your money. Tried to refill pepper part for first time today. It took a pair of pliers, one small flat-bladed screw driver and another person. So much for the "easy to refill" claim!
Tall well made S&P grinder. Easy to use and no traces of S&P left afterwards.
