You can tell they are good quality as soon as you pick them up, they feel lovely and look stylish.They are half filled so they were good to go as soon as I got them. You can alter the grind to make it finer or courser , I never realised what a difference this would make but it really does . I also found that they don’t clog like others I’ve owned.They are simple to refill. The lid just pops off so no unwinding and getting salt and pepper everywhere.Beautiful to use and beautiful to look at.

These Cole and Mason Marlow salt and pepper mills are absolutely amazing.They come beautifully packaged and presented in a box.They are stylish and modern a definite must have for any kitchen. The gun metal grey colour is elegant and sophisticated. They are great high quality products.Easy to fill up you just flip the wooden top and fill with peppercorns and rock salt then replace the lid. Easy to clean, just use a damp cloth then dry.I would definitely recommend buying as they are fantastic. They would also make a great gift.

Perfect time to have new grinders in the go. I was using battery powered ones before.I swore by them but now.....to be honest I prefer the manual ones.These not only look amazing. They work really well, they are sleek and the have a real smooth action.They now have pride of place in my kitchen.
I am happy with my grinders, they look nice. As a Christmas gift after only ever having cheaper grinder sets...8 months of use and the S and P have rubbed off and letters of the Cole and Mason label. Yes these get used on a daily basis but at this cost you'd expect more than that! (I have never had them in water etc, its from handling)

As other reviewers have mentioned, if you attempt to pick these up from the top, you'll often find it separates itself from the base, but only when you've gone past the point of no return, and chucked either salt or peppercorns all over your kitchen or your meal.Ours lasted perhaps a year, before the mechanism on the salt mill gave up. I think this is because they are made from steel & aluminium, and f you surround those metals with salt and give it time, you get galvanic corrosion, and they will essentially weld together. What this means is your salt mill barely grinds anything other than an incredibly fine dust, and the mechanism essentially locks the grinder closed, becoming completely useless.They do look nice, I suppose. I make a lot of impulsive purchases, many of which I regret however this is honestly my favourite purchase of the year! I love the style, sleek, modern and really classic looking. They have an exceptional grind, require minimal effortAnd you can just tell that they are built to last. Looking forward to purchasing a few more for Christmas presents!
Highly recommend the Marlow Salt and Pepper Set. It’s the most beautiful set I’ve ever owned. Every single guest I’ve had over since I got them has commented on how special they are. And the best part is that they work really well! I highly recommend!
These are really nice salt and pepper shakers. They are very unique with the grey wooden effect. Everyone comments on how great they look.They are easy to fill as the lids just pop off and on. You can change how course you want the salt and pepper on the bottom but there is no indication to what this is just a dial that you can turn.Overall a really nice set that I'd be happy to gift or receive myself.
