I have now bought TWO Coleman quick pumps over a few years and both have had the batteries dead within 3-4 years. They no longer accept a charge at all - might be lucky to get 1 volt after 24 hours of charging. Coleman won't replace - they said throw it away!If only they would use better quality batteries, Coleman would still have my loyalty.

The Coleman Quickpump 120v air pump is excellent! Originally, I bought the Woods AC/DC rechargeable battery pump which was incredibly disappointing. I promptly returned that and got the Coleman AC version in exchange. Bonus, it was on sale too!The Coleman AC pump is exceptionally good. For portability, I connect it to a DC to AC converter and run it off of a 12v10ah battery to inflate the Hydro-Force Voyager 500 within 10 minutes. I also use it to inflate air mattresses with ease. I am very pleased with this purchase as compared to other products I have bought from Canadian Tire.I would highly recommend the Coleman Quickpump 120v air pump over the rechargeable battery Woods one or the Woods or Coleman DC versions because of the power you get from the AC version, ... MoreThe Coleman Quickpump 120v air pump is excellent! We bought this for our weekend camping trip. It lived up to our expectations and beyond. I have to admit, it's louder than our old pump which was battery operated; and other con it's heavy compared to our old one. Although the coleman is way more efficient. Pumps the air quickly and deflates it very quickly. Took us about 35-40 seconds to inflate a single mattress. Very happy with it, and can't wait to use it for our next camping trip.

We bought this pump a few years ago and have used it several times. It inflates and deflates both our single and queen air mattresses very quickly. Earlier this year I charged it up for a camping trip only to find it wouldn't work. I tried charging it again but that turned out not to be the problem. Battery is fine, there seems to be an issue with one of the connections inside. Because it was out of warranty we undid the case and fiddled around and now it works. I'm a bit concerned it'll give up again at the wrong moment but for now it's working fine. Better connections and a better switch would improve this immensely.
The Coleman Quick pump (4d pump) is a compact and light weight pump (about 2 or 3 pounds) that is suitable to take camping or on a vacation where you need to blow up an airmattress. It’s not loud like a shop compressor at all. It’s noise is minimal and not annoying as you can still hold a conversation at normal volume while blowing it up. We used it on my husbands camping mattress which is about 6 inches thick and full-size. It took about 5 minutes to blow it up to full size. I would say the speed is suitable for it compact size. I think for a normal larger type of air mattress at about 9 plus inches may take about double the time. This is just an assumption. It was easy to grip onto the mattress with the handle and held a tight seal that did not let air out during ... MoreThe Coleman Quick pump (4d pump) is a compact and light weight pump (about 2 or 3 pounds) that is suitable to take camping or on a vacation where you need to blow up an airmattress. So far I’d say this is very convenient to take on a trip as it’s easy to travel with and takes normal 4d batteries that could be bought anywhere. It also has a one year warranty to help withstand a summer of multiple camping trips. Overall, this will do the job for a travel pump and we are satisfied with it.
I ordered this online in the morning Aug 8, 2022, picked it up in the afternoon. I explicitly asked the person who brought the items to me if they were used and we both had a laugh.Brought the package home and noticed the box wasn't taped. Inside was the item in the plastic, not sealed; cord was not wrapped or tied nicely like new items. Worse yet, it was missing one of the valves, the "pinch" valve.Don't have time to return now but will definitely do so.
The battery in this is terrible. We've used this probably around 10 times and now it won't charge at all. We keep it in a cool, dry area so the battery doesn't deal with temperature shifts and charge the battery every few months and use it for a couple minutes too ensure it stayed optimal. Unfortunately, that doesn't make a difference since it now doesn't work at all. For $45 I expect a battery to last a few years and many uses. I won't buy another as I cannot trust it to be ready when the time comes. The only reason for the 2nd star is that it did work quickly when filling up mattresses and water floating devices. Coleman folks, fix your product so the battery lasts longer. I've seen this same issue on multiple sites where the product is sold; Coleman, Amazon, ... MoreThe battery in this is terrible. Definitely saves on effort and time, blows the Coleman mattress up tight in a couple of minutes. Also does a good job of deflating the bed and sucking out every last bit of air which is also really useful so it can fold up snugly. The only criticism is that you have to manually hold the pump nozzle into the mattress inlet tube all the time you're inflating or deflating. Given both products are made by the same company you think they could have made it so that it clips in. However it is the inconvenience that is the issue, as it works fine all the same.
This is a very useful pump especially for the large volume type inflatibles such as the beach floaties that look like an island, giant flamingo or other such things. Also good for air mattresses. The typical bicycle pump just doesn't do the job nearly as well as this high volume type pump. And I certainly wasn't going to try to blow them up by lung power.Hose and connection is long enough that you can plug into the car/truck or portable power pack and inflate it outside. It may seem to take a bit to actually inflate the item, but once you see the inflation staring, it doesn't take long at all.Not too noisy, not too big, easy to pack up and tuck away for the next use.Would have been nice if I managed to catch it on sale, but it wasn't and we needed it for a beach ... MoreThis is a very useful pump especially for the large volume type inflatibles such as the beach floaties that look like an island, giant flamingo or other such things. Bought for inflating and deflating tubes etc at home and at our lakefront camp. Worked great for the summer. Need it now but lost charger. Ordered new charger, let charge for over 10 hours. Nothing. Blaming my grandson for breaking pump. Now however reading reviews, maybe it was NOT my grandson. Since I spent money on replacing the black inserts part that broke, and a new charger I am willing to try this one more time. If the same thing happens again, I will write another very negative review.
