Purchased this bag ahead of a winter camping trip to the Flinders. Opened it fully and used it as a quilt - so warm and cozy. The fleece liner is easy to clean, and the sleeping bag can roll up to fit back into its original bag reasonably easy. Seems to be built very sturdy. Reasonably priced too. Love everything about this bag, but mindful it is bulky so limited to car/4wd camping and house guests.

Very comfortable, tried this on my bed at home before camping and actually let it replace my doona for a few nights. Couldn't get my kids out of it they love it so much. The flannelette is super compy and the zippers are very heavy duty. Took it camping last weekend and it was amazing, never scared to put my legs down as it was never cold. The warmest I've ever been camping, you can pry this bag from my cold dead hands.

Purchased as a minus 5 sleeping bag for winter and for the extra room and the washable cotton material. Took it camping with overnight temperatures to about 4 degrees. It was cold, particularly all along the zipper. Strangely, even as a 185cm person, it felt short.5 stars for Snowys, who flag this as a comfort rating of +5 contrary to the manufacture, Coleman, that had it as minus 5.Disappointing product, given it was purchased for exactly the conditions I tested it in. Didn't turn out to be the warm bag I thought I was getting.

It's a great sleeping bag, I bought 3, for myself and 2 kids. Camping at manning point in June so drops to around 3 or 4 at night, so we joined 2 together to make a double and used the other as a single. I still used another doona on top of both as it was freezing and we feel the cold. But the sleeping bags are very comfy and warm , love the removable liner. Would definitely recommend buying them.
Comfortable sleeping bag both with and without the liner. It took a while to work out how to take the liner out and put it back again, but all was well in the end. The snag-free zippers are fantastic. My only complain is the rating. We were cold at c+7 so I can’t see how it would be usable at c-5 with the liner. Admittedly we were on air beds, so extra insulation under the bag helped, but I would not rate it below C0. It suites out purposes perfectly.
Snowy's prompt delivery was impressive, but even more I appreciated the advice I received from Customer Service. My needs are not usual: I have a bad back and, a couple of years ago, found the ideal solution to a good night's sleep (for me) lay in abandoning my bed for a spot on the wooden floor. I am also a small woman and a cold sleeper and the first night found the bag a tad chillly. Problem solved by gathering it about me to reduce the space to be warmed, and throwing a light shawl over it when necessary. I use a goose-down bag for camping, but the quality and comfort of this one is surprising. The sturdy zippers are secure and effortless to use and the soft roll at the top is snuggly. Love the convenience of being able to dive straight into the attached inner ... MoreSnowy's prompt delivery was impressive, but even more I appreciated the advice I received from Customer Service. Love the convenience of being able to dive straight into the attached inner and the ease of folding, rolling and strapping the bag. The size, of course, is not an issue at home. Even allowing for rolling and fastening the foam topper beneath it and any incidental shawl, I can lay down or pack up my bed in just six minutes. Thank you, Snowys.
Very comfortable to sleep in. Like the flannelette wrap over the top end which is soft on your neck. I used two with my partner by unzipping and using as a double. One under, one on top. It was a warm QLD evening to start with so we flipped them and slept with the cotton sides against our skin. Very comfortable and perfect for couples unzipped. In winter we will zip them together to keep warm.
I've just used this sleeping bag for a camp trip where the temp was about 10 to 5 degrees when sleeping and I was nice and toasty. It is the snuggliest sleeping bag I have ever used! The fleece liner paired with the flannelette cuff was just amazing. I'm a cold sleeper and didn't feel the cold at all. If you use a sleeping mat with a decent R value and sleep in a good base layer/thermal I think you could easily sleep down to about 0 degrees. We use the Exped megamat 10 duo and sleep in a merino base layer. I feel that I've got a lot of wriggle room to work with and will be able to use this bag at colder temps than we did. Highly recommend!
Bought this before a recent camping break. Ordered Friday AM and received the bag Monday afternoon.Where we were camping dropped to only about 10 degrees overnight and was in a double swag, so can't comment on how this bag would go in <5 degree temps, but this sleeping bag is so comfortable!!My partner was a little envious, due to the cotton outside and felt layer inside, that could be removed if needed.Seriously warm and comfortable, I believe it has extra warmth at the base for the feet.Ended up opening it up and using as a blanket for myself and partner as he wanted in on the comfort!Would recommend, but as mentioned, can't comment if this is the most suitable for more extreme temps, but for what I believe my needs will be for a sleeping bag, it is great! :)
Our first time using the sleeping was during gale force winds and pelting rain down the South Coast. What a great product - we were warm, comfortable, snuggly and made the night bearable. As Ben points out, it is difficult to roll up, so we just stuffed the bag in and pulled down the straps. Love the fleece and not having the noise of polyester. Highly recommend.
