Bought one of these for my apartment until I could find a permanent home to buy. Figured it would be easier than moving in a new bed and then moving it again. Well...I wound up keeping the thing and sleeping on it every night for 2.5 years. Put a towel on it first...you do sweat at night. A normal mattress absorbs all that, gets heavier with time. An air mattress eventually will develop mold. Ugh. Then throw a foam pad on the top and a pillow-top sheet and it's as comfortable as a regular mattress. Really. Believe it. I set mine up on a base to add about 4 inches and get it off the floor. Eventually, it will develop leaks. In my experience, these always happen at a seam. A bit of aluminum-backed tape will get you through the night in case of a leak on the shiny ... MoreBought one of these for my apartment until I could find a permanent home to buy. Probably that is hard to repair in a permanent way. Leaks on the "flocked" side are easy to fix. Find them with soapy water. Let it dry. Brush on some rubber cement. Add a single ply of a Kleenex or other brand tissue. Brush on more rubber cement. This will fix the problem. Ultimately, you will have to buy a new one. That is true of a regular mattress, too. The difference: many pounds of sweat and bed bugs have accumulated in the regular mattress. I do think I would get the extended warranty next time, just in case. I might try another brand just for variety.

Not good for camping. Good for kids sleepovers but if you are looking to get a good nights sleep and stay warm, this air mattress is not the bed I would recommend. Used it once and had the worst sleep. No insulation and very uncomfortable. Will be seeking to return it.

Good quality Coleman Queen sized bed. Used for camping and as a spare bed at home. Need to make sure the bed is fully inflated otherwise the sides sink when trying to get off it, making it a bit difficult. Folds easily in to its own tie up bag.

I needed a something to serve as a temporary sleep arrangement having recently purchased a home and waiting on household goods. My son and daughter-in-law suggested that I buy the Coleman Elevated Queen Mattress. I purchased it from Walmart Online and have been thoroughly pleased with its performance. However, my included Air Pump was DOA, luckily I owned another pump, as Coleman’s phone and online Warranty Procedures are horrendous, and they require photos of the item and copies of your purchase receipt. Not all customers have access to camera’s and scanning equipment. Getting in contact with a live Customer Service Representative in virtually impossible (you’re looped back to initial phone menu), thus I have no replacement pump to date. So be advised that resolution of any Warranty Issues will be a huge problem! Aside from the DOA included Pump, the actual Air Mattress performed flawlessly and provided me an excellent nights sleep the twenty-nine days it was used, almost rivaling the comfort provided by my Sleep Number Bed.
Most (and rightly so) use this air mattress in rugged settings (that is, outdoors for camping). Howbeit, my family also uses them indoors. Getting a national brand air mattress can cost thousands...Coleman has an alternative solution...use their product in the same manner as that of the expensive national brands. My family has used Coleman mattress products for years, and they are wonderful, durable, and comfortable. If I had one suggestion to give to Coleman, that would be to make their mattresses even more and more durable than they already are. Make them hold more weight and last multiplied years (currently, their mattresses last about one year and, then, you have to buy a new one). I believe if Coleman did this, they could STRONGLY compete in the market even ... MoreMost (and rightly so) use this air mattress in rugged settings (that is, outdoors for camping). An expensive item that you could actually buy from other stores for half the price, but not worth a cent... Definitely do not recommend. Disappointing from Anaconda. It dramatically deflates within hours. Has a very specific and expensive pump system that NO ONE in the store advises you about, even when you ask the right questions.
Purchased this product for use as a spare bed when having guests. It has only been used once, inside on a carpet floor. It leaked after a few hours. Not happy.
Took a bit for myself to figure out the valve to add air pump for blowing up.The plastic smell is quite strong.Bed manages to hold weight of 2 adults comfortably. Slight deflation over night, but that could be, because the bed is still stretching.I purchased this from Kerikeri Store via click and collect. I had a whanau member pick up the parcel on my behalf hassle free.
My family loves to tent camp. As I get older, the prospect of sleeping on the ground is not very appetizing. This mattress was excellent. I'm 5'15" tall and I had plenty of room to stretch out. Since our camping is semi-primitive, I usually bring along a deep cycle battery for our air pump and nightlights. The pump that comes with the mattress is AC so I used our DC pump to inflate the mattress. It worked like a champ even though the adapter nozzle on the pump was not a perfect fit. The valve system was unique to my experience. It operates similar to a pool float where you first pull the valve up from a folded position, pull the "plug" and inflate. In the matress' case, the folded position actually forms a seal between the moveable inflation stem and the body of the ... MoreMy family loves to tent camp. In the matress' case, the folded position actually forms a seal between the moveable inflation stem and the body of the valve. I had my doubts, but the mattress stayed firm for 3 days. I added a little air on the 4th day and it stayed inflated for the remainder of the trip, another 4 days. If you've dealt with mattresses before, this pretty good. Even the screw in valve caps leak air in my experience. I'd give this mattress two thumbs up!
I am very happy with this purchase. This bed is quiet, and incredibly comfortable and I love that I can easily move it anywhere in the room or house.I've been sleeping on this bed for almost two weeks. I have topped it off with a few seconds of air several times, but the the small included air compressor makes this an easy task. The material it's made from seems to be extremely durable. The reason I chose this one is because I wanted a double-Queen, named-brand, durable, indoor/outdoor air mattress, that didn't need to be plugged into the wall all night and was under $100.I received almost everything I asked for as this bed is lacking in size. The sleeping area is smaller due to the raised ridges on all four sides, in my opinion, this Queen sleeps more like a ... MoreI am very happy with this purchase. The sleeping area is smaller due to the raised ridges on all four sides, in my opinion, this Queen sleeps more like a Full. If I had to buy another air mattress I would purchase this one again, but only in a King. The sleeping area is approx. 68" X 47.5" The raised ridges are approx 6.5" wide all the way around. The raised ridges can be slept on but they are slightly elevated, enough to notice, and they seem to be less firm than the middle of the bed.As far as the weight being supported by this airbed, I am about 110 lbs, and have a lightweight comforter protecting the mattress, a feather bed on top of that and another heavier comforter on top of that.
