Happy with the tent, quick rundown of what I've found after a quick three night stay. (Phillip Island, mix of weather conditions... As always) Pros; Fantastic setup and pack up process, quick and convenient and easy for one person. Incredibly dark inside. Decent enough ventilation. Very sturdy and no frame movement in the wind. Good space for two and gear, perfect for a quick weekender with a decent car setup. Cons; Yes, the fly contacts the inner, causing some pretty hefty condensation. Will likely space it away with a pool noodle next time to see how it goes. But, we had all vents closed and it was toasty warm inside. The awning angles down to the tent when setup with enough height to cook under... Which pools rain at the main tent structure. Not ideal, but would be mitigated by say a vehicle awning instead. Overall, very happy and next time I do MotoGP with all the boys, there's probably going to be a row of these. They were all pretty impressed by how sturdy and easy it was. I love Snowys, but the move to Aramex detracts slightly as I find their communication and tracking to be poor and unreliable and their delivery time frames to be erratic and unpredictable. Just make sure you order well before you need it to avoid any stress. Thanks guys.

Easy to setup and easy to pack away. Sturdy in the wind. Easily fit queen blow up mattress. Haven’t noticed commonly mentioned condensation issue yet despite camping in rain. Larger size when packed to factor in for space in vehicle and distance of campsite to car. Certainly not a hiking/backpacking tent. An easy trade off for the convenience of the tent.

I bought this tent mainly for the darkroom technology and im so glad I did. I took it for a 2 night camp in winter and ended up under a street light which would have kept me awake but not in this tent. I also had some rain the second night and while there was a little condensation on the ceiling everything was nice and dry. The only thing that bothered me a bit was crawling under the wet fly when its zipped up to get in and out of the tent.

Plenty of room for two adults. We used a cheap blow up double bed mattress which fitted in very well. No condensation after hot day and light showers at night. Only problem we had was that the protective cover on one side of the supports had been fitted incorrectly, preventing side arms from opening up, frustrating but soon fixed by a bit on dismantling and reassembly. Very happy withthe tent
This is my second Swagger but first in a darkroom. These are really great tents being easy to erect for us veryically challenged folk, roomy inside, yet compact to store. I use mine for just me. I had the other out in light rain over the weekend and could see where the fly touches the inner tarp but had not started dripping. Another worry is the fly just covers the inner by a fraction, as per photo, on both swaggers. I wonder if in some wind, the rain may blow in as the inner is not rainproof and the bottom of the fly just flaps around. The fibreglass arms were stiffer than the other Swagger to fold away, as was inverting 2 of the legs, unlike the other one. Hopefully they loosen up with use. I am taking a pop up untill I am sure about how it handles the rain.
Not disappointed with this little beauty. Replaced my Coleman instant up 6p with this (reluctantly, also a great tent) as I no longer needed a big tent. This is perfect for me & my two teen girls, great size, easy quick set up & quality make & materials. Room for us & our gear to spread out inside. Packs away back into the bag like a dream.
This tent has not only survived an excitable 6 year old child standing up and jumping around inside it. It’s also extremely easy to use, set up and pack away. It’s light suitable to fit a queen air mattress, pillows and duvet with room for personal items It also packs away neatly fitting In my Mazda 3 (I work a corporate gig and I’m female so this is high praise) This tent has also survived a three day downpour in darling downs region and a HAIL STORM. 10/10 would recommend.
So I got this delivered for a father and son trip at the end of October and have since used it again this weekend. I won’t spend too much time with the pros as it’s clear from everyone’s reviews that these are super easy to set up and they look fantastic too. So this issue of condensation and water on the inside of the roof. I was at Rathdowney in October and had this issue but it wasn’t enough to put me off. Weather was beautiful during the day and typical dew overnight. Yes there were some spots on the inside but it wasn’t too bad. Note: I only pegged down the 4 main guy ropes. I also took it to Esk this weekend and I pegged down all the ropes, including the 2 smaller ones at either end. I also took it to Esk this weekend and I pegged down all the ropes, including the 2 smaller ones at either end. This allowed maximum ventilation and separation from the outer sheet to the tent and I had no water inside. Weather was similar with your typical overnight dew. So maybe that helps? I also had a pool noodle ready to cut up to put around the poles but didn’t need to use it. Yes, there is condensation inside the outer door but that doesn’t bother me personally. All in all it’s a great swagger and is so easy to set up. I think having all the ropes tied down helped add a bit more separation and therefore no water droplets inside.
I bought 2 of these tents specifically for touring as they are lightweight and easy to set up/pack away. However, they were wet every morning despite adequate ventilation and do not handle rain. I’ve since been told they are ‘fair weather’ tents. The fly sits on the tent and can’t be pulled off with guy ropes. Had to crawl out through a wet door every morning… not pleasant. Would not recommend. This is my only purchase from Snowy’s that has been a disappointment and cannot be returned. It was suggested I spray a waterproofing solution on the tents.
I was initially very impressed with this product.Easy and quick to set up and take down..Robust, roomy, yet compact..However, on a trip to the Victorian Alps, some drizzly nights saw a lot of moisture leach into the tent, and on my bedding.Condensation may have added to the problem, but it was definitely most serious at the point where the fly came in to contact with the inner tent. Try as I may, I have not yet found a way to adjust the guy ropes or tension the tent, in order to completely lift the fly away from the peak of the tent. It's a shame, because the tent is otherwise an excellent concept, and suits my need for a smaller, comfy option, at times,
