Colgate Cavity Protection Toothpaste with Fluoride - 1 Ounce Pack of 24

So this is a great product I am more than happy to recommend to others. The packaging box, the toothpaste tube and look of the toothpaste itself all look very nice. Then the product itself has a great flavour, look and feel to it. With regular use, I did notice that it did a pretty good job on helping to reasonably improve the whiteness of my teeth and reduce some dark teeth stains that I do have (as I do consume a fair amount of coffee, red wine and soft drink - which this product is designed to remove!). I would definitely buy the product again if the price was right - it feels like the price shouldn't be too much more than some of the fancier regular toothpastes already available out there.

YUCK YUCK YUCK . All I gotta say is , NO . JUST NO . No one could pay me to use this brand of toothpaste . It doesn’t make my mouth feel any more clean , or fresh . It hurts my teeth .. feels like I am using sand to brush them with . I also noticed it almost leaves a frothy white layer on my tongue afterwards ( and believe me , I brush the $*outta my tongue and scrape it but nothing solves the film of grossness that remains after using this stuff . If y’all like peptobismol then this may be for you . But If you believe that chalk is only meant for drawing with then take my advice and STAY FAR AWAY ! Lol

My opinion : Firstly, I am satisfied that the plastic is recyclable and without cardboard (clearly that is useless and that we throw in the trash). When I read “Intense freshness” I always tell myself that the product is too strong in the mouth, but not at all, it is indeed very fresh, a sweet taste of mint but without overdoing it. If you have teeth that quickly become sensitive, I think this toothpaste can be right for you. .

I’m a package person. I enjoy beautiful presentation, because that’s just what I’m used to in this very presentation heavy age we live in, so the design on this toothpaste leaves it less than desirable, and almost fake. It’s just not the product to reach for on the shelves, however it is ADA certified in big letters on the front, which is why I did pick it up. (If you didn’t know, that means it contains fluoride, which if you don’t want cavities you need in an oral care product.) So, while the performance of this product is 1000% exactly what it says it is, maybe work on the packaging? Otherwise, it is my new countertop staple in the bathroom.

COLGATE CAVITY PROTECTION

I didn't get serious about brushing my teeth. Then I started getting cavities (I didn't like the look of those silver fillings). The my mother started buying Colgate Toothpaste; I loved the flavor. At the age of 16 the only toothpaste I would brush with was Colgate (it cut down on the number of cavities). Most years I didn't have any cavities.Til this day that's all I use. I have almost all my teeth, go to the dentist twice a year, and will be 79 soon.

Changed flavor, way less minty

This has been my favorite toothpaste my entire life, but I recently bought a 3 pack of the new recyclable tubes and the mint flavor is extremely faint. My partner is still working on his tube from the last package we bought, and the mint was much stronger before. Even from the smell, you can tell how weak the mint is in the new formulation. When I was brushing, it tasted almost flavorless! I always use mouthwash after and my mouthwash tasted normal so I know I'm not experiencing any taste loss or anything. I'm sad that they changed the taste because this was always my go to :( It will still clean the same but it does not taste good anymore.

Good, but not like the original years ago.

I have always thought Colgate was great for cavity prevention. I actually hadn’t used it in a lot of years and decided to go back to it. It is OK but it is not original flavor. They forget some of us old people are still around and remember what the original Colgate tasted like. It’s much milder and doesn’t quite have the Colgate flavor. I was disappointed in that, but will still use it for the cavity protection.

I have been buying Colgate toothpaste all my adult life

I grew up using Colgate, and I have continued to use it all my adult life. I like that at BJs I am able to buy it in a multi-pack, which offers more competitive pricing, plus it will last longer so I don't need to buy it as often. I also like that this Colgate toothpaste product has fluoride in it; that can only help! I also buy Colgate Total; each has served me well. Again, I have been using Colgate all of my life... which speaks for itself!

I had been using Colgate Total Fresh Mint Stripe for several years because I liked the milder taste, but I knew I had to find a new toothpaste when they suddenly changed the formula. I am the kind of person who hates change and only tries new products when I'm forced to, so I decided the next best thing would be another toothpaste made by Colgate that didn't have the stannous fluoride in it.This basic cavity protection toothpaste has a decent flavor, but I found it to be a little too burning/numbing for my taste. It also made my lips feel the tiniest bit dry, but I haven't had any major or long-lasting reactions yet. This definitely is not my favorite toothpaste, but hopefully it will grow on me so I don't have to find a different alternative. I don't need all the bells and whistles with a toothpaste; I just need one that has a mild taste, doesn't burn or tingle too much, and has sodium fluoride instead of stannous fluoride.
