Colgate Dental Floss Total Mint Waxed 25m

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Have been using this for over a week now twice a day. It has been much easier to use than other loss I have used in the past. It can be a little bit Thick And therefore difficult to fit between my teeth but overall much better experience than with other floss to the extent that it actually encourages me to use it which is good. Taste is nice but personally we prefer something a little bit stronger minty wise.

I've used Colgate floss for decades because it didn't shred, it fit between my teeth and it was wide enough that it didn't cut my gums like other flosses. I was confused when I got the floss in the new packaging. The packaging was twice the size for the same amount of floss. Then when I was using the floss, it didn't glide between my teeth, it got stuck and shred between every set of teeth. It's useless. I'm devastated that my normal reliable floss is gone. I had purchased several at the same time, they're all a waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I was quite impressed with this floss! I'm an avid flosser and am quite selective with the floss I use. This floss was very strong and didn't shred apart like a lot of other floss does. The flavour was perfect and not too overpowering. The only issue I had was that the floss kept coming off the dispenser with every couple of uses so I kept having to thread it back on - not a deal breaker but it's something I dont really want to spend time on. I will however, definitely be changing to this floss as Im so impressed with the strength of the floss

Colgate mint waxed dental floss

Very disappointed. While flossing had to use 4 pieces of floss. Each time I used my floss, it kind of feathered in the middle of the floss string and split in half. The floss is not strong enough even though no force was used. Bits of featherless floss was left between my teeth. I repeated this 4 times and the floss could handle only going between 2 teeth and ripped so for next 2 teeth I had to use new piece of floss. After 4 goes I gave up.

Improved version still problematic

I appreciate Colgate sending me a free sample of their new floss to try. It is a little thinner than the first replacement of my favourite dental floss (which I used happily for 10+ years). Unfortunately, I still cannot get the new improved version in between (almost all of) my teeth. I will not be buying this product.

New improved dental floss stuck between my teeth as it is very breakable and not glide well.

I am a regular customer of Colgate dental floss over many years. I am totally disappointed in the newly marketed as less breakable and glide between the teeth well. The dental floss got stuck between my teeth and I went to a dentist to remove the floss as it is very breakable. It is extremely costly to use this product as a result.I personally recommend the previous line of dental floss as it did its job properly, there wasn’t any breaking at all during my regular flossing ( three times daily) over many years.

Next level clean

I’m one of those people that stick to the brand they always used but this trial made me change my mind. I was sent the Colgate Total dental floss to test and I can honestly say I am totally impressed. The floss was soft with no sharp edges, it stayed together through the whole floss rather than fraying like other flosses. It even got into all the little danger spots my dentist keeps an eye on. The minty fresh finish was also a nice bonus. An all round great product that should be in every bathroom.

Very very hard to use

It’s very very hard to use especially with slightly damp fingers after brushing teeth or in between flossing. The floss slips out of your fingers when flossing and is frustrating. The older Colgate total floss is much better and doesn’t slip out of fingers. Have to dry fingers when flossing to avoid the slippage. Bought 6 packs and need my money back.

Waxy minty flossy

The packaging is robust and sturdy. I never had to worry about fixing the floss line inside which is always a plus compared to cheaper floss that always gets lost.The floss itself was much waxier than others but gave a great minty smell and freshness in the mouth.The floss was strong and I enjoyed the minty feeling with use. My only negative for the product is that the wax makes the floss thicker and I have tight teeth which meant it wasn’t as smooth of an experience for me and I had to be more gentle.
