I have been wanting white teeth for a long time, and my dentist has always told me I’m not a great candidate for professional teeth whitening as my teeth are naturally quite white. He recommended that I use Colgate optic White instead in order to get that “celebrity” white smile. I’ve tried whitening strips in the past but have found these hurt my teeth due to the high levels of hydrogen peroxide, so if your teeth ache as a result of strips - this is a great alternative. I received this toothpaste as part of the Glosscars Awards Marketplace event. I was using another brand Whitening toothpaste and was pretty happy with it, until I used the Colgate high impact white! After using this toothpaste for a week I noticed my teeth felt and looked cleaner and whiter. I didn't realise they could be whiter than they were. My gums didn't feel sensitive and found it very effective. The scent and taste is very pleasant, I usually get turned off the flavour of some brands but I quite liked it. I am definitely very please with this and it will be replaced with what we were using. Price point, it is roughly the same price as other teeth whitening toothpaste that is on the market.

I used this toothpaste twice daily for several weeks and I have noticed that my teeth do look slightly whiter than before. I am pleased to see results quicker than I thought I would. It has a fresh, pleasant mint scent and leaves my mouth feeling clean. I found that if I used this toothpaste more than twice a day I did experience some mild gum discomfort and sensitivity. Overall, it’s an effective toothpaste to help reduce stains to give you a naturally brighter smile. It’s also an affordable product that I would repurchase.

I really appreciate that. I only bought this toothpaste because my regular toothpaste was not on special and this one was, so I decided to give it a shot. Hmm… Thoughts on application: The paste itself is white but what I found interesting was the paste was slightly textured. I’m not quite used to that. It’s not super abrasive but it reminded me of the baking soda in toothpaste trend that came out about ten or so years ago. Not necessarily a great thing. What I appreciated was the minty impact when brushing. There’s quite a hit going on here! It’s not super strong but it’s there. It reminds me of those horribly strong cough lollies my dad used to eat (the ones that came in the white paper bags; I can’t remember the brand name but gee they were hot). The mint is synonymous with a strong mint and may not be to everyone’s taste. I appreciated it as my usual toothpaste is lacking in that department. Another way to look at it is it saves you time in using mouthwash! What this toothpaste hasn’t been doing is it hasn’t been giving me any dramatic changes in the whitening department, nor does it give a decent foaming action. I think the emphasis with this toothpaste is the light abrasive action rather than the typical cleansing reaction. For me, I like a mouth that feels like it’s been cleaned, not just scrubbed. When I went through the ingredients however what I found super disappointing was to see there are sugar substitutes in the toothpaste (sodium saccharin and sucralose). I don’t want to brush my teeth and have my mouth flavoured with sweetness. This was a real downer for me.
To begin with I was sceptical of this toothpaste because I have tried many different teeth whitening products before and had been left disappointed. But, after using this toothpaste, I am super happy. I can see a huge difference in the whiteness of my teeth. I have had stubborn discolouration on some of my teeth for years, and nothing has worked. Until now! I am so happy with my results! I will continue to use and buy this toothpaste. And I'll even recommend it.

I am pleased with the results of the whitening of my teeth during this trial. The only reason I wouldn't purchase this product, is that I really hated the smell and taste of it. I felt like I was putting cleaning chemicals into my mouth. Glad I could try this product though, and would be keen to give another whitening toothpaste a go. Another thing to mention, is that I have sensitive teeth, and I was concerned this toothpaste would aggravate them. I was pleasantly surprised that my teeth and gums weren't affected by changing toothpastes for this trial.
