I like Peroxyl, but I thought I was ordering bigger bottles. I got what I ordered, but next time I will get bigger bottles.

Best way to heal canker sores

For as long as I could remember, I have been using Colgate's peroxyl mouthwash for all my canker sore issues. We've all been there, eating away and suddenly biting the side of your mouth or lip. A day goes by and a huge canker sore forms! I use this mouth wash as soon as I bite my lip, or as soon as a sore forms. Of course, I practice good oral hygiene, most especially when I have a canker sore. I brush my teeth after every meal and rinse with the peroxyl each time. Usually with that procedure, my canker sore disappears in approximately two days. It truly works every single time. The only thing I wish I could change about the peroxyl is it's taste. It is very obvious you are rinsing in hydrogen peroxide. When I spit it out, I try my best to scrape the residue off my tongue. In my opinion, it's disgusting. But hey! It's like any other medicine, it's disgusting but it works! It took a while getting used to. I think, however, after skipping several good meals because of a canker sore, you wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

It's a little more expensive than regular mouthwashes but it's more than just a mouthwash. It's an oral healing agent. When I used **Colgate Peroxyl **the first time, it almost felt like a "stinging" type feeling but it didn't hurt. Kind of like when you put peroxide on an open wound but sloshing around in your mouth. The taste set me back too but i didn't really expect it to taste like pizza. After I gargled and spit, my mouth felt refreshing and actually quite soothing. I used **Colgate Peroxyl **for many months until my oral surgery. Since my oral surgery, I still keep **Colgate Peroxyl **on hand. It works great for canker sores. If you have had a canker sore, you know how painful they can be! We get them regularly in our house and use **Colgate Peroxyl **to gargle with to help relieve and heal quickly. I strongly recommend **Colgate Peroxyl **if you have any dental/mouth/gum irritations that you need relief and healing from! Env: development

Unfortunately this happened on Saturday night and she could not get in to see the orthodontist on until Monday morning. By Monday morning the inside of her cheek was pretty torn up. The orthodontist recommended that she get some Colgate Peroxyl, this would help the scratched up cheek to heal faster than if it was just left alone. You can use the formula up to 4 times per day. You use 2 teaspoons of it at a time and swish it around your mouth for about one minute then spit it out. Kind of like you would do with Scope. Do not use in anyone under 2 years of age, and you should supervise your kids when they use this and make sure they don't swallow it, even though it is alcohol free. The taste is tolerable. We have been using this product for a number of years now, after going through the mills with a number of other products - we believe it is the hydrogen peroxide that makes the difference, and not a day goes by with out using it - He loves it too! and it was recommended by our Dentist ... :-)))) thank you Chemist Warehouse ...

It is a know fact the hydrogen peroxide is good for cleaning and fighting infections, but you can't use it in your mouth straight out of the bottle and it is hard to dilute it correctly so that it will still be effective. Colgate Peroxyl, Antiseptic Oral Cleanser has the perfect dilution of Hydrogen Peroxide, so it takes the guess for out of it. When you use it , you get the fizz that you would expect when you use hydrogen peroxide; so you know its working. Recommended by my periodontist, this is great for tooth and gum health. Great mouth wash that you can feel working.

Overrated Price

My dental office used this for a while. I liked it and found it could be purchased at most any grocery or drug store. I have purchased it and like using it. But I find the cost off the charts. I will be going back to something more reasonable in price. The product is way overpriced.

Peroxyl Really Cleans

This mouthwash, Colgate Peroxyl, was recommended to me by my regular dentist as a way to keep my gum disease in check. I was a little leary of using it since it has hydrogen perioxide as the main ingredient, but I gave it a go anyways. Anything to keep your teeth, right? I bought this at Walmart. It was a little more expensive than the other mouthwashes. You use it just like any other mouthwash - swish for a couple of minutes and spit. You can taste the hydrogen perioxide, but it is not terrible. The mint flavor covers up most of the medicinal taste. It is no worse than regular mint mouthwash. Fantastic product - has helped with the cleaning with my sensitive teeth when also used with sensitive tooth paste. Has a strong flavour .
