I really like the taste of Columbia flavor. One of my favorites. However, rated low due to the lack of fill in the can. Illy can's are already less than average at 8.8 oz and to then have the can grossly under-filled is very disappointing (see pictures). This has happened to me on a few occasions now and is becoming very frustrating. Illy needs to improve on the consistency of "fill" within their whole bean coffee as it seems no two cans are ever alike. That said, I do really like the taste of the Columbia blend.

Illy has the best Arabaca coffee’s I’ve tried. Always smooth, non acidic and great tasting. Have tried in fancy fringe and brew DeLonghi coffee machine and Cuisinart drip after grinding the beans. Fantastic cup of coffee!

Ive has Illy coffee many time and the taste and quality seemed much more defined and refined; I did not recognize a significant difference to justify paying double the price for this coffee.The one visual difference was the tin can package that. Was clearly better than most other brand, but not enough to justify the price difference

Since purchasing a fully automated espresso machine 13 years ago, I have been exclusively buying Illy whole bean coffee. I love the rich flavor of the espresso and coffee. My all-time favorite is Illy's Columbian bean! I recently switched from the traditional medium roast to this new international bean and am totally addicted. It's my new favorite!
I am so impressed with this coffee. I made myself a cup in my Melitta bean to cup coffee machine this morning and I added double cream and Stevia, as this is how I like my coffee. The crema on the coffee was very impressive and the flavour was full and beautifully rounded. Illy coffee does command a fairly high price tag, but this is well worth the cost as it makes a gorgeous cup of coffee that just keeps giving and giving.
These beans produce a very flavorful mellow coffee. I just love the smoothness of these beans. No acidic or burnt aftertaste. Holds up to all types of coffee drinks or just a great tasting cup.
I wanted to try a different variation and in hindsight should have mixed 6 kinds instead of getting 6 of one. Colombia is too sour for my taste and kissing the chocolate notes and richness of the original. It's also too weak, reminds me a lot of the standard American coffees. I have yet to try these beans as espresso - but my experience tells me it will simply intensify the acidity. I drink my coffee black, nothing added.
We regularly drink Illy medium roast whole bean coffee (by subscription), but like to have one of the Monoarabicas sent periodically for variety. This one is very good, but perhaps a bit too mild for our taste, so I think we still prefer the classic medium roast. We will continue to try the different varieties. I know we have had one that we loved, but then we forgot which it was. I guess we'll just have to drink more Illy. Such a lovely dilemma.
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE..I love the Classic Coffee a lot, too..but this one is THE BEST WAKE ME UP THE DAY BEGINS NOW+++AT THE FIRST WHIFF OF AROMA AND THE WONDERFUL SMOOTH TASTE OF MY FIRST COFFEE OF THE DAY ITS FULL STEAM AHEAD TO MEET THE DAYS CHALLENGES!!
This is a very smooth coffee. I feel the flavor of this coffee is rich with zero acidity or bitterness. I really enjoy this coffee, it is also not oily by any means so if you use a Super-Auto machine these beans will be more than fine. The smell of this blend is very mild as well, during brew specifically. Enough to be enjoyed will not overwhelm.
