Amazing comfort! I have always found Columbia footwear to fit well. But this particular model and "wide" choice makes this the most comfortable shoe ever. I noticed it after the first few minutes walking around the house. They seem durable as well. I will find out how the waterproof they are later on. For now I am very impressed with the comfort.

I bought this pair of boots as a Christmas gift for my husband to remplace his old Timberland boots. I choose Columbia brand because I have a pair of snow boots and they keep me my feet warm. Is not even a month and my husband start complaining that his feet are always wet with these boots. He made an experiment he put a dry paper towel inside insole left shoes on a poodle of water and the paper towel was completely damp. Is very disappointment that Columbia boots were no meet my expectations. I had to bought new pairs of waterproof boots for my husband.

Great boots! Bought these for my son for an up-north long weekend hiking in the woods. He said they kept his feet warm, dry and they were very comfortable. He said he would wear them for everyday use because they were so comfortable. He did recommend a smaller size as the first pair was about 1/2 size too big compared to his normal show size.

These hiking boots are the most comfortable for me. They provide great stability and support. They are very durable for my day to day use. I have bought two pairs in different colors. The maroon style has received the most positive comments for styling than any other shoe I have worn. Everyone loves this maroon style. I have not received any comments on the grey hiker even though they are exact.
I have only worn these a few times so far, and they are great! They are comfortable and rugged feeling. They also look sharp and pair well with a number of different outfits. I mostly work in an office setting, but occasionally have to visit farms and other outdoor areas. I'm sure these would meet the needs of anyone who has to walk or hike frequently. I snagged these on sale for $50, which is a steal for such a high-quality boot. Definitely recommend!
I can't wear these. I wish I had time to send them back. They hurt my feet! Really make my feet hurt!! Feels like the foot bed is pure concrete. No cushioning what-so-ever. Highly uncomfortable. They are laying here collecting dust. Money wasted, and I don't have $$ to waste. Highly Uncomfortable boots. :-( :-(
Boots seemed decent comfort wise and true to size. Looks are OK. Only has 6 sets of eyelets and was a little tough to get the fit right and tie the foot down properly. Ankle support not great but better than a shoe. Not for serious hiking or backpacking. Boots did not feel like good quality but for someone on a budget, they might work out OK. Upper material seemed thin and cheap. Sole lugs were not very deep and were soft for a hiking shoe. Did not really care for the lighter tan color and the thin cheap suede leather which I assume will attract and show off the dirt and grime from trail use. Problem was one shoe had a minor glue over run on top and it stood out due to the light tan color. Not much padding especially around the heel. I would not expect these shoes ... MoreBoots seemed decent comfort wise and true to size. Looks are OK. I would not expect these shoes would hold up to hard hiking use nor would they last a long time with any hard use. The biggest problem was the popping sound one shoe made with every step as the material would bind above the flex point then pop/release. Some pressure on top the foot too. Returned them. Later got the non-suede leather version and it was horrible / worse with a severely flawed Upper finish and hurt my feet.
Boots seemed OK comfort wise and looks wise but did not really care for the lighter tan color and so much cheap suede leather which I assume wiil attract and show off the dirt and grime from trail use. But it did feel fine. Problem was the left shoe had a minor glue over run on top of left shoe and it stood out due to the light tan color. The biggest problem was the popping sound the left shoe made with every step. The material would bunch/bind above the flex point then release making the noise. Returned them. Columbia Customer Service has to be one of the better ones around. No charge to ship defective shoes back and their people always seem so nice. Still a pain though to have to deal with the return, but oh well.
Great wearing and very comfortable boot! This purchase was actually to purchase a second pair just to have them on hand because I love these boots so much. I was concerned about how well the suede would hold up but my present pair is about two years old and still looks great. The boot offers a lot of arch support and provides a lot of shock cushioning and is really comfortable on hard surfaces.
These are very attractive boots. I usually wear a 13 but Columbia and Merrill I wear a 14 because they run small or its toe box design. These are very comfortable. Apparently Merrill makes Columbia or vice versa. I looked at Columbia boots and the design on some are exactly like Merrill or vice versa. Either way these are nice boots. Merrill isn't what it used to be 20 years ago when you could get half sizes. Satisfied
