This is a beautiful jacket (Cordovan) - unusual color in a rich, chocolate, brown. Outer polyester fabric is very good and fleece lining inside is of good quality. Overall finish and style are clean and streamlined, which make it suitable for casual or dress use. Should work well in the transition seasons or mild winter weather. Sadly, the sizing did not work for the person intended for and so had to return. It would be helpful to have shoulder information in the size chart supplied by Columbia. Macy's order, delivery and return process was excellent as always - thank you for that.

The zipper is a joke on this otherwise fine jacket. It is very rough making it extremely difficult and time-consuming to zip. Then, the faulty zipper split immediately after wearing, Argh!Columbia, we paid good money for this; please don't use cheap parts.Frustrated consumer who wasted money on this.

The jacket arrived well packaged and is of great quality. I already had a navy blue one to compliment my dress clothes and this gives me other options. The jacket is not too heavy or too light but gives me the warmth I need. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone. I got this on sale so it was a great deal.

Purchased this exact jacket about 4-5 years ago and the quality is much better than this 2022 version. The new version only has one drawstring compared to the older one which has two therefore creating much less of a cinched look on the newer jacket. The zippers have much cheaper strings that Im afraid are going to tear if I pull to hard. Overall the older versions build was better and drawstrings cinched all the way around the waist as compared to the newer version which only cinches on one side making the drawstrings quite useless.
Bought this jacket for my husband - 5'11" 330+lb with broad shoulders. I got him a 4XL and it fits so nice! It has plenty of room in his shoulders, and he can comfortably zip it up. It is even lose enough that he can wear a hoodie under it if he wants. I don't think this is meant as a full on winter coat, but that is perfect for him as he doesn't like "puffy" coats and he runs hot anyway. Will look good with his business casual work attire & dressed down.
Great Jacket! The material is nice and should stand up to abrasions and last a very long time. Very well thought out and put together. And at $60 what a steal. I bought it in-store and they honored the online price which was super great. Overall, I think this is a great purchase. I tried on a North Face softshell too and this was much nicer in quality and fit. You cannot go wrong here.
I’ve had this jacket for a couple years. I purchased it for more of a casual jacket but have discovered it’s a great piece to add to a layering system for hiking. It does an excellent job of blocking the wind and can be warn over base layers in some pretty cold conditions. Or use it as a mid layer under an outer shell. I’m tempted to buy the hooded version also. I’m 5’11” and 230#. The XL fits perfect.
This jacket provides excellent protection from wind & rain. If you throw it on over a heavy sweatshirt or layer it w/ a fleece you are good to go just about any time. The pockets are all roomier than expected, especially the chest pocket, which actually holds my ultra note smartphone w/ no problem.I wasn't thrilled w/ the idea of velcro cuffs, but after wearing it, velcro is probably the best way to allow the flexibility this jacket was designed for.Only thing that could improve this is a 2 way zipper.
I am a fan of the clothing and being 6'2" I love the fitting of Tall sizes usually. This is the second jacket I have ordered XLT which is super loose. All of my wardrobe has XL which I wear but this jacket runs bigger.I waited for Black Friday to get an offer but unfortunately will end up paying them $6 for shipping it back. The quality is so so good which makes me even more sad. Columbia needs to fix its returns. Please provide free returns or at least for online orders accept them in your stores.
Was looking for a replacement of my well seasoned Marmot jacket that I swore I'd never replace but this has turned out to be a worthy companion and new look. Warm, good mobility, and comfortable. Nice options for pockets and has easily withstood the early Toronto cold, wet, and winds of pre-winter weather; nicely protecting my t-shirt only wear beneath with zero issue.
