Favorite boots
I have had these for a month and love them. I deliver for a living, so good boots are a must. I’ve worn them almost everyday since they arrived. I live in Michigan and they have kept my feet incredibly warm. I love how comfortable they are, even if I wear them 12 hours. I also love how much traction they offer; I don’t slip and slide nearly as much as I used to. I will definitely be ordering more colors when they are available. For reference, I wear size 15 regular normally and that size fits me perfect.... Show more

Good boots. Warm!
Good boots. Comfortable but narrow. I have a pair of Columbia Firecamp boots that I bought mistakenly two years ago. I bought the Firecamp confused by the similar name and the boots have similar styling. Those boots were size 8.5 reg width and fit great and served me well. I bought the same size in these boots and they were too small in terms of length and width. I ended up going with a size 9 wide and they are still just a tad narrow but trust it will stretch out over time. The boots are very warm. I wear them mostly for daily winter around town and have found them to be stable and keeps the snow and slush out. One problem I noticed was that when walking indoors, they make this strange clicking sound on the right side boot at heel strike. It can be felt through ... MoreGood boots. Comfortable but narrow. Insanely warm
I just bought these from Dick's Sporting Goods yesterday morning for a football game where the temperatures were -10 with windchill of -30. Being outside for 4+ hours these boots were able to keep my feet warm with toe warmers and wool socks. My other boots I had tested outside prior to going and after being outside for 15 minutes my toes starting freezing. I went out to panic buy an insulated pair of boots and came across these. Not only were they extremely warm but they are the most comfortable boot I've owned. If you live in a colder climate, I can not recommend these boots enough.... Show more

Most comfortable shoe/boot ever!
These are the most comfortable shoes/boots I’ve ever worn. Bought them for a bit of easy hiking on a Tassie trip, mainly to keep my feet warm than anything else. I’ve had them for 6 weeks and I’ve worn them every day since because they are easily hands down the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn, the most comfortable Nike doesn’t even come close. Super comfortable and I never have cold feet! Loving wearing them to the footy at night.I’m bought another pair for stock in case they aren’t available after I wear out my current pair.... Show more

Nearly 1 full size too small and mine had defects on both boots.
Unfortunately had to return these. They are beautiful, comfortable and just an overall nice but for urban to light urban hiking.Mine had "defects" in the heels; every step, when my foot lands on the heel, it would make a loud clicky "clunk" noise. I tried moving the soles, tying my boot tighter, looser... they are are way too noisy to walk around in. Both boots had the same issue. I figure maybe a part of the boot wasn't properly glued. Also, I'm a pretty strict 9.5 size. 10 in every shoe feels too big, 9 too tight. These felt tighter than a 9, yet they we're 9.5.My recommendation is pick up a size larger, I wasn't even wearing thick socks in these and my feet we're really tight.... Show more

Shoes not waterproof
Don't wanna hate, but I bought these at a shoe retailer specifically for winter and they did not work properly. Every time I walked through snow, the inner soles would become wet and I was basically getting trench foot. I worked at a garden center at the time and the same thing would happen while watering plants. The top of my socks and shoes were always dry, so I think the shoes were absorbing moisture through the bottom or the sides and it was seeping up, it was kind of uncomfortable. Sucks because I liked the boots and it doesn't seem like this happened to anyone else on here. Looks like I just got a defective pair :/... Show more

Solid winter boot
#BackcountryGearheadGreat winter boot that feels like a shoe. The flex and range of motion in the shoe allows fluent heel to toe movement. It doesn't feel restricting like most leather boots I own, but still has great ankle support. Haven't used them in the snow just yet, but I did test them in river water which the waterproofing on the shoe was fully sealed. The warmth of the boot using the omni insulation with the breathable membrane work well together, allowing the foot to be warm but not sweat. The only recommendation I would say is giving the boot time to pack out. I have a wide foot so the 14 length fits great, but a little snug until broken in.... Show more

Spectacular boots
I live in Wisconsin and these boots are exactly what I need to get through our cold and snowy winters. The 200g of insulation in combination with the Omni-Heat makes wearing wool socks unnecessary unless the temp is well below zero. The height of the boots and the waterproofing makes trekking through snow up to 7" deep a breeze. The only concern is choosing a size when thick socks enter the equation. I typically wear a 13 but when I tried size 13 + thicker socks the boots were very tight. The 14s were a smidge too big but bearable.Overall, spectacular boots.... Show more

Tried and Tested
I’ve had these boots for around 3 years now and they are still going strong. They have held up in icy and snowy conditions down to -30°C (-22°F) for extended periods of time in both dry and humid climates, after which they show no signs of dilapidation. The grip/friction of the tread works very well. The boots will keep your feet dry and very warm. The only things part that has worn town tremendously are the laces which I wish I could find exact replacements for, although I may just not be looking hard enough. Because they are waterproof, they are easy to clean. I even purchased a second pair just in case Columbia ever stops producing these boots down the line.... Show more

Warm, Dry, Snug
These boots are true to their word about being warm. Been shoveling snow for three days in Reno with them and the lil piggies have stayed toasty. Yesterday ran errands and parking lots have been a mess. Fell into a puddle up to above my ankles and feet stayed dry. Water seemed to roll right off the boots and dry quickly. Tread seems good too. No slipping on the ice.Sizing - I've gone through two Salomon Ultra Mid GTX in size 10 but needed a 10.5 for this Columbia. I also have a longer left than right =(... Show more
