This is my second purchase of this shirt, just to have it in a difference color. It also serves as a great light-weight jacket over a t-shirt on cool mornings. As the day warm up, I can just open the buttons and keep it on. My first shirt was daily wear on a ten-day African safari a few years ago. These loose-fitting shirts are extremely durable and seem to last forever with daily wear.

Outstanding shirt, have been waiting for this color to come out in short sleeve. This is the type of shirt I wear during the very hot months in Texas. This shirt adds to my 15 other color shirts that I have. This type of shirt is easy to care for, air vents on the back allow for air to circulate. Shirt material that is easy to dry after out in the rain or just sweating. Plus the sun protection it has is a plus.

Very functional shirt was purchased for long distance hikes. Nice color and a good fit. The medium shirt runs slightly large. The only issue was an irritating tag at the neck line that had nylon stitching. It required removing which took about 15 minutes. Before removing the tag, the back of my neck would get extremely irritated and the feeling was not pleasant. Careful attention is required in removing else you run the risk of ripping the fabric.

Love the shirt. Based on reviews, sizing was a concern. I am an XXL, so I rolled the dice and the shirt was perfect. I did not experience any sizing issues as discussed by others. The fabric is light weight, very comfortable and nicely appointed. I machine washed cold, and hung to dry. It came out of the washer practically dry already, and after hanging, no wrinkles. Good to go. Hoping for more as Christmas presents!
I bought this shirt to replace a Columbia shirt with similar look and he loves it! The fit was relaxed and the color choices are great. I bought it in gray and it is not too dark for summer - the SPF factor is wonderful as well. I would not hesitate to buy other colors. The stitching was done well and the look is casual, but not too casual. A win!
XLT for me. (46 Long jacket) Stays tucked in. Comfortable shirt with vented back. Front pockets very large and can hold many items. Love the button-down collar. The Bahama version is made of thicker material and doesn't seem to attract static electricity or stick to body when wet/sweating. Depending on your dryer, you may need to iron before wearing. I have both long and short sleeve versions. Fits true to size.
These shirts are hands down the best for hot humid weather. I like them so much I now have 5 (3 short sleeve and 2 long sleeve). They do run big which is perfect for when the temps are high. I ordered all the shirts online. Delivery was timely. There were however 2 glitches. My first order was for 3 white short sleeve shirts. I received 2 white and one navy. The invoice said 3 white. Didn’t want to do the return and reorder dance so I kept the navy. Second order was for 1 white and 1 sorbet long sleeve. I got 2 white. Again I decided to keep both. I plan on moving to Florida in the not too distant future and I’ll be living in these shirts. If you’re looking for the perfect shirt to keep you cool on a hot sunny day this is it.
I moved up to 3x. This is basically the only option. I like the colors, Red, White and the darker grey. Basically the best color options I have found in ages. I would like button down breast pockets. They aren't available. The collar buttons down. I like that. The sleeves roll up with loops. That is great. Bonus pockets on the breast pockets are unnecessary. Gussets on pockets are unnecessary. I own about 30 Columbia Long Sleeve technical shirts in a couple of different styles.
I purchased this shirt after a lot of research for hiking, camping, and otherwise just being outdoors. So glad that I did! This shirt is great. It keeps me cool when it's hot out. It keeps me warm when it's cool out. It keeps me dry - water just beads off of it. The sleeves can be rolled up and buttoned in place, which is a nice feature. Don't be fooled by imitation shirts - this shirt has a shell made of nylon and provides UPF 50 protection, whereas most other shirts are made of polyester and provide nearly half the UPF protection. If you need a shirt for being outdoors, this is the one!
I have been buying these shirts for my husband for several years now. He loves them, I love them. They are well made keeping the quality and style you can always expect from Columbia products. They look awesome too! My husband fishes the Columbia river and surrounding lakes from April to October and wears them every single time. They hold their bright color and I can get the stains from stinky baits out of the fabric without a lot of effort. He gets lots of compliments from the wives of his buddies about how he always looks so good on him. Don’t tell him that! Janiei
