Bought 2 of these in medium in grey and navy for my husband and son. They love them! I had already bought them the fleece vests for the holidays and they wore those immediately. They both like to have layers so I thought I'd get them each the full zip jacket to complement the vests. I paired the navy vest with the grey jacket and the grey vest with the navy jacket. Looks great! Light weight but warm when the house gets chilly or it's not too cold outside. These are made well and are a great gift for guys who like layered comfort.

It's a great jacket. Very warm and and Comfortable. Great for everyday wear.Only issue with is it is that I ordered the black jacket it looks more like a dark gray/heather gray. It definitely does not look black. Especially when paired with something that is black. It almost looks as if I might have been sent wrong color.

Very comfortable, and flexible, warms up good but not overly hot. Used it to walk at Florida Parks during winter and it worked perfectly, Breathable, so I stayed fresh trough out my walking. Got one for my father as well, and he loved it, washed it a couple of times and it is a really good fabric that dries fast. Hands pockets outside and inside pockets conveniently located for more storage.

My son had this exact jacket, and it was getting a little “well loved”. He wanted a new one, but it had to be the exact same color as the old one. It was incredibly difficult to find, but after an exhaustive online search, we found it at Gemplers! We were so excited to find it, thank you Gemplers! The jacket is exactly what my son was looking for, the color is beautiful, the coat is so soft. Shipping was incredibly quick.
I really like this jacket but the sizing is off. I spent my life in the apparel business, so a bit critical of how companies size their products and in this case the specs are not good. The body is a bit full or oversized and the length is ridiculously long. I'm actually thinking I may need to try the smaller size, but worried it will be long also. If you like your jacket long, then this is no issue as beyond this issue, it's a nice garment.
I own this model as a jacket and vest. They lean more towards the casual side, but if you work from home, they work well in front of a camera. They would work well in a business casual environment.I like this color green, which is why I purchased it. Over the years, little details have changed, but the quality remains. You can wash this many times and will still look good and keep you warm. It also works well as a mid layer.

Great fleece zip up. Perfect for cool weather and comfortably smooth. Great Columbia fleece. Affordable and comfortable. Pockets on the outside and inside. Will not make you sweat your brains out if the temperature rises and lightweight to pack for a quick hike, amusement park trip or a quick trek to the store.
In the past I’ve been a North Face guy. The two jackets I got from them were very nice. Recently went to replace it. They no longer had the fleece jacket. I purchased the jacket that they replaced my old one with. Very disappointed. It was not a fleece jacket. The materials were much cheaper. Quality was way down. Returned it and got a Columbia. It’s exactly like my old North Face. Quality just as good. Probably won’t return to The North Face.
I love the Steens fleece jackets and have several. They're the perfect jacket for cooler days with little wind, although if it's actually cold and windy, you're better off with something with a shell outside. During the winter, this is a perfect sweater for wearing inside to maintain comfort without turning the heat up too much. I'm tall (6'4") and the regular size fits me just fine. I also have a tall version and the sleeves seem a bit too long, so try it on and see how it works for you.
