A great way to enjoy the outdoors without the annoyance of sunscreen.
I bought two of these shirts for fishing and love them. Sunscreen is loaded with chemicals and can make you feel greasy and gross so these shirts are a great way to enjoy the outdoors without that annoyance. I have fished for hours in the sun on hot summer days in the south and stayed protected and cool. Love these shirts - when they're on sale.... Show more

Cool sun protection
I am a scuba diver , wash windows and pressure wash for a living . This put me in the sun more than most . I use these now every day under my work shirt when I am outside . Thin enough to not heat me up but keeps the sun off my arms and head . It make me a little warmer then just my work shirt but on hot days I take off my outer work shirt and just wear this after I have met my client . Last year I was on a dive boat and each day it took us an hour to hour and half to get to the dive site . There was no canopy for the divers . These shirts kept the sun off me . They are cooler than just a t-shirt , even with the long sleeves . I own about 18 of these , grey for work all other colors for non work sunny days .... Show more

Forewarned is Fair Warned
I purchased the Men’s PFG Hoodie (Orange Blast). It arrived with a noticeable black stain on the left sleeve. Furthermore the stain was marked with yellow fabric tape, inside the package, as if to denote the flaw was known at the distribution center, but yet it was shipped. That’s not the frustrating part. I tried to lift the stain and launder it out but it would not come out. A black stain on an orange shirt is not something you can overlook or hide. Upon returning it, and notifying Columbia their product arrived damaged I was refunded my purchase cost minus shipping bit back. We have zero control over the quality of product shipped to us. Be forewarned, if it’s poor craftsmanship YOU will charged to some degree and that is NOT customer service or a company that ... MoreI purchased the Men’s PFG Hoodie (Orange Blast). I have photos of the product, yellow tape and damage out of the shipping package. This review, once I tagged it poorly, will not allow me to attach them. This review most likely will be quashed as well.... Show more

Great lightweight summer fishing shirt
My review is for both shirts I purchased. I bought identical shirts in 2 colors. They are lightweight and comfortable and fit me just fine. I never used to worry about sun exposure while fishing but I'm getting older and figured it wouldn't hurt to worry a bit. These do a fine job of keeping me comfortable and eliminating sun burn on any day I want to fish. The hoodie is light enough to wear under a hat and keep my ears and cheeks from getting roasted by the sun too.... Show more

Great lite hoodie
Love having the flexibility to use hood at the gym when ceiling fans are creating too much draft. Washes and drys so easily plus it’s just the right thickness to wear on all but the coldest days walking from the car to the gym. Fits perfectly and I’ve been using these hoodies for several years. Highly recommend.... Show more

Great shirt - runs extremely large
I like this shirt a lot but had to return it. ordered a medium... and it was hanging off me like it was an XL. I am usually between M & L. It was marked Medium, but had another tag attached saying "Relaxed Fit". so if your idea of relaxed fit is wearing a shirt that is 1-2 sizes too big, you might like this. otherwise I would have kept it,... Its OK
Good colour, thin cool fabric, mostly breathable, feels nice on the skin. Can be worn as a base or mid layer. 2 minor annoyances: 1) The branding is too thick, reduces breathability and effects fit. Why do I need to advertise that this is a fishing shirt? 2) It has the typical polyester odor issues. It stinks after even a short wear as a midlayer, which could be a problem on a multi day trip.... I’ve been looking at a hoodie like this for backpacking! It’s incredible!
I’ve been wearing a sun hat for years but I’m just really tired of having that kind of a hat on when I’m hiking because it makes it really hot and sweaty around your ears, back of your head, and neck. my first time out backpacking was an 80° weather where I claimed 5 miles and did over 1000 feet of elevation gain with a full pack on. It kept the sun off of me, it was extremely comfortable and breathable, and when I drop the pack to take a break the shirt was dry in like 10 minutes. I’ve never had a breathable ultralight base layer breathe and dry like this one did. These run really big so make sure you size down one size. For example, my sizing shows XL, but I ordered a L. Honestly have never found a shirt that I like backpacking in so much as I do this one. It’s ... If I hit the desert you know this shirt is for sure going to get packed. Incredible design, and the fit is remarkable. I hope Columbia continues to make these!... Show more

No more sweat rash
Finding this shirt was like a cave man discovering the internet. I work out dòors and also get sweat pimples. These magical shirts are so nice and breezy i love em. They are thin, seem to be made well. But i guess we will see how long thy last inmy work environment. A small downside, they are like silk and they form to you .... revealing your exact shape. For some thats a good thing. Others .......... Show more
