I own the regular non-waterproof model of this shoe and love the fit and comfort, so I decided to order the waterproof one for hiking. Since the regular size 8 fit perfectly, I thought I would have no issue with the same size of the waterproof one. However, the waterproof shoes were noticeably tighter. I had to return those. (And had to pay the return shipping cost) Why Columbia made this as such is beyond me.

Lovely walking shoe and perfect for my work environment as a florist. Comfy, grippy and nice colour combination :-) I am a size 6 but as advised on the website to size up, I went for a size 7 as the 6.5 were out of stock. They are a little more roomy (not slipping off though) but I don't mind that as I can wear thicker socks in the winter. Great buy.

I was looking for a low hiking shoe. I had no idea what brand to buy. I saw these at my local DSW store website and went to look at them. They looked great. I wear a 7 and a half but they were out. The 7 was too small. I had them shipped to me. After wearing them one time they were surprisingly comfortable. The next time was even better. They fit great and feel like I've had them for six months instead of a month. Highly recommend these great hiking shoes.

Good quality shoes. I have worn Columbia before and they last well and keep your feet dry. These shoes are a bit narrower than previous pairs so may need a couple of outings to stretch.
I purchased these shoes for an upcoming trip to the NE where we will be doing a lot of walking. They are very comfortable and I've been wearing them a lot even before the trip. Size is accurate and they have a good arch support as well.
Comfortable and Waterproof. Tried others but keep coming back to these. Love them as I live an active lifestyle outdoors. The brown are my fave as they don't show the dirt.
Order came quickly after placing early last week. Wore all day on Sunday while decorating for the holidays and walking my dog. Comfortable enough to wear with a thicker crew sock, but my feet were a little tired after spending an active day wearing them. Did not feel any moisture come into the shoe after stepping in a puddle. Intend to wear these when I don't want to lace up a hiking boot, but need something more waterproof than an athletic sneaker. My usual 9.5 fit perfectly. Pretty color too!
I had to order this shoe 3 times to get it right. The first order was my size but my toe touched the end so I sent them back. The second order was one size larger but I had mistakenly ordered the same model in a non waterproof version so I sent them back. On the third try, I got shoes that are waterproof and fit... somewhat...they don't seem to have much cushioning so I have added an insole and that seems to help. I do like the way they look and they seem durable.
This is my 4th pair of Columbia hikers I got my 1st pair when I was a Cub Scout Den Leader. The model I was accustomed to was the Birkie. Alas, no longer available, so it was time for a switch. I walk the dog, go to church, out to eat, and pretty much everything in these guys. i regard them as my Winter gym shoes. Nice fit, not too stiff, good padding, waterproof, nice traction, and snazzy too. My only issue is the Crestwood has less overall padding, which I found to add a bit of warmth. I do half size up because i do wear wool socks and like a little extra toe room. Sorry to say I have not done any out West/mountain terrain hiking with these. Maybe next year...a good all around walking shoe when its colder..
Love these shoes. Was concerned the longer pair were a bit broad, however, first day, wore them all day, feet were feeling great at end of day.Look great too - really nice design.A bit slippy on tactile tiles, ironically, but I really bought them for unpaved walking, so no big deal.Love how dry and comfortable my feet were on a wet day with loads of puddles. Good one.Looking forward to walking 10s of 1000s of steps in these babies. If they behave themselves, I may even take them for some serious mid life crisis walks.
