I've worn this hiking and camping several times now and wish I could wear them everyday. Exceptionally comfortable, especially on long hike. I don't get the foot tiredness as

Beautiful shoe, waiting for another size to come into stock because the ankle area seemed a little snug and the inside was definitely snug with any type of thick sock. Love the color and style, hoping the new size works!

This was my first time trying anything from Columbia, and these boots were so comfortable right out of the box. Despite a few reviews saying to size up either by a half or a full size, I took the chance and stuck to my true size and it was perfect. I also chose the Wide option to be safe because my feet do tend to swell when it's hot. I paired them with medium weight merino wool socks and it felt great. I didn't break these boots in at all, I didn't have time and I was eager to try them on the trail as soon as I got them. I completed a 10 mile hike in these yesterday over rocky, gravelly, dirt terrain with no blisters and no pain. I was a bit surprised that the boots I received didn't match the product photo completely. That pop of orange in the design is what first caught my eye. The boots I received don't have it as you can see from the attached photos, they're clear. I don't mind though, but I thought it'd be worth mentioning. Overall, I would highly recommend these boots, and I'm already thinking of getting a back-up pair or the low top/sneaker version of these. Totally worth the money, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bought these as a gift and the person using them is delighted with them, comfortable and offer great support when walking on footpath or through forests. Excellent grip pattern provides a good feeling of stability when dealing with slippery rocks or light mud. Over all very happy with the boots.

Took them out of the box, put them on, and went out to hike with the dogs. No break in! Comfortable right away, terrific traction, waterproof, and breathable. Especially comfortable around the ankle and nice looking enough that I wore them to work the same day.

The shoes are really light (compared with other hiking shoes), material and quality is great. It is extremely comfortable on the feet, the toe box portion can be bent with force but it is not flimsy and there is much support overall. Sizing wise pretty close to measurement. My feet measures 24-24.3 cm and I chose a size 25 cm (US 8, EUR 39). Wore a pair of normal cotton socks and fit just right into the shoes. There is a bit of space for a thicker pair of socks in cold weather, else adjusting the laces will also work if needed (to get feet in before tightening the laces to the top).

I put these shoes to the test with an 8 miles hike with rocks, water, trails, creek beds, bluffs, flat ground, etc. They are waterproof. They are comfortable around my ankles. I would readjust the laces to find the right fit. These are my first mid boot/shoe and I'm happy with the purchase. Light, pretty, comfy, but also tight on my feet when I need them to be locked down.

Purchased a similar pair of out dry boots a month ago for hiking and they surprised me just how well they performed. Went to Acadia NP and did several strenuous rocky trails in wet conditions including scrambling over rocks, steep climbs and descents. The traction was superior. Paired with my wool blend socks my feet stayed dry even when walking along the sandy beach and through muddy bog trails! Highly recommend these for anyone who will be in wet, uneven or muddy terrain! Just a hint, I sized a half size up as I felt great all the boots ran small and it was perfect with thicker socks.

While the boots were waterproof when purchased, the waterproofing did not even last 8 months. So incredibly disappointed because they were very comfortable. But it's no fun when your feet get wet just walking through wet grass.
