This style is my favorite Columbia shirt because of the easy snap front and the small Velcro tabs that hold down the color so it doesn’t flip in your face in the wind. The zipper pockets do make it hard to tuck in because the thickness is at the waist and doesn’t give much but safety for travel or valuables is useful. I also like the more shaped style though I’m between the small and medium. I have both depending if I wear a layer underneath. They wash and hold their color well. Trying to get a khaki one in stock is like mining diamonds. I still don’t own one because for some reason they keep shoving pastels down our throats. The bees love them so not good for hiking in the yellow, oranges or pinks. Really Columbia get with the program for women too. I did secure the denim blue color this year and by the time I told a friend they were already sold out in her size during the sale. Plenty of tropical pink left though. I’m 5’3” 130lbs senior athletic curvy B-C cup. Small fits but sometime I want the looser medium plus then the snap doesn’t gap across the chest then. Good luck!

Very light and lovely material. The shirt is true to size. I got a medium and am 5'6, and 147 lb (I usually get larges in Columbia tops because I have big shoulders and arms, but this looked loose enough that it seemed like a medium would work, and it does). The shirt will be great in hot weather, and I am definitely going to keep it. But I may take out the pockets. There are two pockets on the front. They are constructed of mesh and have zipper closures. On both sides, the mesh combined with the zipper makes for a very stiff and thick portion of the shirt seam, just under the bust. Now, I love me a pocket, but I don't think I am willing to give up so much comfort. There must be some other option?

I first bought two of these back around 2016. They've been my favorite shirts since then, and finally got a little too worn so I decided to replace them. While the new one has the same features and fit, the fabric is a significantly lower quality. I could wear the last one with nicer clothes, but this one has a nearly see-through (in white) gridded fabric that, while probably better cooling technology, is a lot less nice-looking, and significantly reduces the wearability of the product. Very sad about that, since they were the shirts I wore most often. I hope Columbia returns to the better quality fabric one day.

Beautiful light green color. Love the fabric texture and pattern to the weave. I like the vent to the upper back but I prefer the style of this vent on the Silver Ridge which is more tailored looking instead of being an open flap. I love the snaps. They work well and have held up well on previous older shirt that I own. I love, love having two side seam pockets that are big enough to hold cell phone and keys. I LOVE that this shirt has no breast pockets. I HATE breast pockets and never use them even though I do buy shirts with them.
I recently had to have a little spot on my back removed and biopsied. While the results of the procedure and test were all good, the dermatologist I saw recommended that I get a bit more serious about my sun protection. My beau, who - as someone who builds hardscapes - is in the sun all day, has been wearing Colombia sun shirts for quite a while now, inspired me to try this one out. I ended up buying three different shirts from three different companies, and this one is by far my favorite. It has the lightest fabric, the most flattering cut, and I love the color. I'm not psyched about having to wear a long-sleeved shirt on the hottest of hot summer days, but if I have to do so to save my skin (literally), I give this shirt a 10 out of 10. Will definitely purchase more.
I love this shirt. It is my go-to for travel. I have five! The pockets, with zipper closure, always hold my wallet and cell phone, leaving me virtually hand's free. I love the rod holder for carrying my sunglasses when I am not using them. The shirt is great for adding a layer to a sleeveless or short-sleeve shirt. You can regulate your temperature by having the shirt buttoned or unbuttoned, much like a jacket. And all of this with sun protection! I can't say how much I love it.
I bought two of these shirts 8 years ago and love them. They still look like new. I decided it was time to get a few new colors for an upcoming trip. From the recent reviews it seemed the cut was smaller now so I purchased a S instead of XS. The size S was too big so I returned for the XS and it fits great! (I’m 5’5” 120lbs). These shirts add a touch of class to your outdoor adventure and will look good on city excursions too! My only suggestion, I wish the logo wasn’t so obvious.
Great ultra lightweight shirt. Snaps are perfect. Does run quite small through body. Sleeve length is long though. If you want a cover up style loose shirt for being in the heat - order up a size or two. I’m 5’4”, 125 pounds and the large is slightly loose and comfortable but not in any way sloppy. Still looks like a nice shirt. I should technically be in a small or medium and I couldn’t move in those. Way too tight for heat.
I first bought one of these shirts maybe seven years ago and I was extremely pleased with the quality and fit. Since then I have ordered several more including the sleeveless ones. The last two shirts I've ordered have been a huge disappointment. They don't seem to be made as well, and they simply don't fit the same as the earlier ones I've bought. The last two I ordered had seams that puckered and on one, the lowest button snap didn't line up properly. They also seem to be cut larger through the bust, more narrow through the hip and even a bit longer than the earlier ones. I returned the last one I ordered and will probably not order one again. I'm disappointed because I really love the shirts I have. The last ones I've ordered though are just not the same quality ... MoreI first bought one of these shirts maybe seven years ago and I was extremely pleased with the quality and fit. I don’t like writing reviews but this one is worth it. This is the third Tamiami II (my usual size M for my 129 lb frame) shirt purchased from Columbia and I’m sure this one will bring equal satisfaction. I don’t fish, but I do walk/jog regularly. The shirt is lightweight and airy so wearing it in hot temperatures helps in reducing body heat. It also has built-in sun protection which was a major factor in my decision to buy. I also wear it in spring and fall as an over shirt. With zippered pockets, I carry my cell phone and house key, and more. Because of its quality fabric, the shirt washes well, no wrinkles. I am highly recommending this shirt to anyone who is sports-minded or just for everyday wear.
