these worked magic on an old, unfixable picture frame that I did not want to get rid of. We had made collages of pictures of my mom from the 1940's and 50's. It was truly wonderful to be able to salvage this old frame and use it due to these 3M Command Small Picture Hanging Strips! I already bought some more to have in case some other favorite frames need a gentle treatment. I especially love it when the frame and the picture compliment one another stylistically and historically!

Perfect! I’ve use these hangers many times. What a joy to be able to put a picture/poster, knowing that it will be easily removed. I guess 3M felt it was more important to shrink the English instructions to an unreadable level on the packaging so they could also squeeze in equally unreadable Spanish instructions on the packaging. Big fail here. Second, the instructions are very confusing. Steps 3, 4, and 5 make no sense. Am I supposed to wait one hour to mount the frame on the wall? Press "fasteners" together until they click? Fasteners? Click? These are basically velcro strips with adhesive backing. Absurd. I like the flexibility of being able to take the strip off without bothering the wall. Ofcourse you can't paste it twice to a wall surface, but at least you can move your little works around without making marks on the wall. Buy bigger packs to enjoy that flexibility.
I've tried Command strips in the past and have always loved them, but these are next level. They are so cool! They work like Velcro, but better. They don't grab onto anything unless you push the strips together. It doesn't get caught in my hair. That is a huge plus! I love them. Maybe the are supposed to be for picture frames, but I have found some more creative uses for them. Because they can be removed and reattached, I have been using them to keep track of the TV remote. I put one side on the wall and one on the back of the remote. Now it hangs on my wall, and never gets lost. We can remove it, but now we always know where it is when not in use. These are great! I've recommend them to anyone who wants to hang something more than a poster on their walls!

They won't stay stuck to hold themselves up let alone anything else. I used a scale to weigh what I wanted to hang up, as always, and made sure the surfaces were clean and dry. I am finding that the adhesive itself, not the interlocking loops are failing. But the loops are iffy too.I suspect that Command is producing these in a different facility or perhaps have outsourced the adhesive or product production somewhere else. What ever the reason, the quality control for the adhesive is not working. I have written a complaint, as should everyone else who is having problems. Command won't see that there is a serious production problem unless enough people complain, officially. For years they were the only game in town for removable hanging solutions, but that has changed and if this issue isn't resolved, I'll be more than happy to test the competitor's products.
I have lost 2 small, hanging ceramic planters to these strips. I used the 4 lb. strips that should have EASILY held these to the wall. The product did not do as it said it should so you should USE CAUTION! Do not use these strips to hang anything with value or sentiment.
