Decent length hose works fine. BUT make sure it I the right one. There are both left hand hand right hand thread versions and not all camping stoves are the same. There is also a course thread version of this hose. The BCF staff were helpful in suggesting I bring by stove in (was in my camper van at then time) so was able to verify as it was an older Coleman stove and this was a Companion branded hose.

Good replacement option in a longer length allowing more flexible cooking arrangements. Still stores within the body of the stove for convenience.Also appreciated the assistance of the BCF team member at the Geelong store in testing that it was a fit for my stove. Good customer service.
Supplied hose with a non-Primus cooker was just too short and made it difficult to position gas bottle. Upgraded to this longer cable. Fittings matched perfectly. Extra length made it easier to have cooker and bottle further apart.
I read the Q&As before ordering this item. I was worried it may not fir my Gasmate stove. It does fit that. But the other side of the pipe does not fit the Gasmate gas bottle properly. Even though it says 3/8" BSP LH - fine thread, it won't screw on to the gas bottle properly. The old OEM gaspipe fits perfectly (but is too short). This one is long enough, but it only screw in a few turns. Seems to me the thread is slightly courser than the gas bottle thread. Annoying, as both are supposedly 3/8" BSP LH. I don't want to force it, as it may damage the gasbottle thread. Now what?

Perfect, slightly longer replacement hose for a gas stove we purchased a few years back, threads were correct and packaging was clearly marked up with good details.
Be careful!This is the same size thread as my old, shorter hose. However, would not fit.Apparently my original hose has altered the gas bottle thread.Both hoses would fit the new bottle in the shop.Not going to risk altering the bottle thread to fit the new hose.
