Very-quiet, light, low current draw and cools-down very quickly. Brilliant product that looks better in real-life.
Great little fridge for the price.
Doing the job keeping everything cold. Comparable power consumption to some of the more expensive brands. Hardly notice a dint in the battery. Definitely works better when full. Extremely happy and great value when compared to others on the market.
I had the Companion 40 litre freezer before, upgraded to this one because the old one had a compressor issue. The sad thing is that while being 5 litres bigger, there's less usuable space in the freezer section. It takes wayyyy longer to bring this one down to -18C than the old one (yes, I put frozen gel packs in to help that) even with the bag. Speaking of which, it's really good bag, def recommend grabbing that with your purchase. Size/weightwise it's pretty light, easy to move around. The old one with it's dihital display in top made it easy to see that it was one and running, this one mounted on the end not at all, and the supplied 12v cord is pretty short. Why I didn't buy a 12V fridge for camping a year or more ago beats me. It is such a treat keeping food and drinks cold and DRY. After careful research, I chose this 45L Companion fridge and it is the perfect size for a solo traveller. I pack frozen ready cooked foods at the bottom and find they stay frozen for at least two days even while being surrounded by non-frozen drinks & food with temp set at around 5 deg. Very happy with my purchase.
