I bought this six months ago, and never had any connection issues or the like.Recently, it spontaneously stopped working. No visible reason why (I didn't bend the connector)
It would always take a bit of fiddling around to get it to connect initially on the micro HDMI end, and then within 3-4 weeks it just stopped working all together. I don't believe I damaged it, as I was working from home at the time during lockdown, it's just a bad cable and unfortunately Officeworks don't stock this type of cable in any other brand.
Bought this item yesterday and does not work at all. Micro HDMI male end noticeably bends when in socket - the housing poorly grips the micro connector and I can assume is pulling on the wires inside the housing, causing failure. Monitor randomly showing "no signal" due to cable. DO NOT BUY.
I got this cable about 2 months ago and it worked fine until it suddenly stopped working. I took care of it and it sat still almost all of the time, so it is something wrong with the product.
Purchased in April, broke in August. For what it costs you'd assume some extra level of quality, given you can buy these cords on eBay for about a third of that price. No comment on the customer service experience thereafter.
This is literal junk. You are literally buying junk. I bought three; one broke after connecting & disconnecting it from a camera multiple times over a period of a week. Second one broke after connecting & disconnecting it from a camera once. When I say the cords broke, I mean the cords stopped sending & receiving a signal. I know this because when using an external cord, it works but for some reason Comsol cords have a very short life. Third one broke because I ripped it in half after the frustration of two previous cords breaking way too easily.
Bought this cable 6mths ago and it has now stopped working. Very temperamental and disconnects with the slightest movement. Do not waste your money.
