I brought this 2 months ago when I brought my Monitor. The HDMI fit perfectly and so does the Thunderbolt connector. it is Extremely fast and for a great price.My sister brought the apple one for triple the price and it is twice as slow and almost broken.Great product would give 100 stars if i could.

When I'm on the go and need an extra monitor for my Microsoft Surface Pro, this is the go to for newer monitors. It uses the Thunderbolt port so it should be easily compatible with Apple as well. Small enough to not clog up the space you have your computer and monitor on/in. Recommended for a quick solution - do your research first as the price is a bit higher compared to other alternatives elsewhere but is great when you need a quick fix.

I purchased one of these a year ago to keep with me at all times, while this is a Comsol branded, it works just as well as the official Apple one. I might note that the HDMI cable portion is _slightly_ larger than the official one, and the plastic feels 'slightly' different, but if you're after a working cable and don't care about the brand, I would recommend this Thunderbolt to HDMI cable.
I have used this for almost a year and it works great and feels sturdy enough. However it produces wireless interference which will stop you from being able to use the WiFi on your MacBook while it is plugged in to it. You can fix this by covering it with tin foil.
This worked for adding an extra display to my late 2012 iMac however not in the correct resolution. Good quality plugs though.
