This is my second purchase of this nose trimmer and it is amazing. I have probably had 20 different nose trimmers in my 87 years and this if by far the best. Trims clean and easily every time.However, the first one I purchased stopped working after about 17 months and it has a 2 year warranty. However, I have not been able to get an answer on the phone number they give as to how I can get it replaced. I would like it and use it for when I travel.

I bought a ConairMan PG1000 3 days ago through Amazon, and it arrived within a day. It did not turn on at all. The turn- on instruction are actually clear and simple. I have a PhD in experimental nuclear Physics. I checked the new Duracell battery, which has an expiration date of March 2034, and it reads 1.6V (and it lights up a flashlight) . I lubricated it with WD40.I filled out the appropriate forms at Amazon, and in less that 24 hours I go a replacement.It does not work either!Help!

I bought this trimmer around Christmas last year because my previous one just stopped working. I can say that the round head on this works quite well compared to the the flat head on the previous product I purchased. Works really well for my nose hairs, hadn’t used it on my ears. Hopes it doesn’t stop working out the blue like the other product did.

I've had issues in the past with buying ear/ nose hair trimmers. They are usually weak, lose their effectiveness over time/ suck up battery quickly. I bought this one upon the recommendation of a friend. I was startled by how loud it was, but it is the quickest and most effective trimmer I've ever purchased. I hope it lasts a good long time!
I had previously bought a trimmer from Burlington Coat Factory. It started out okay. But after a few uses it didn't perform like before. I received this trimmer today! And OMG! this is the Best thing ever. I apsolutley Love it. It has the round trimming head that doesn't jab the inside of the nostril and it trims everything completely quick and efficient. All I can say is that I am so happy that I decided to purchase this trimmer! so believe me I guarantee you will love it as much as I do!

I could find absolutely no word on how to turn the trimmer on; I managed to get it turned on only by trying various procedures, which were complicated by the fact that the battery I was using was dead. There is NO indication in the instructions or on the product itself on how to turn it on. Adding the note "run" in the product next to the dash would at least give some clue.Aside from this very small problem, I like the product. The design of the cutting head seems to me to be better than the style of the precious products I have used. I have bought a bunch of nose trimmers over the years. Most share a design of a short cylinder with slots at the business end of it (Panasonic) or a comb-like cutter (Phillips, Norelco). In my opinion, this Conair trimmer outperforms the other designs. I have used it several times and am impressed with the results. It is easy to use with the cutting blades easily and effectively fits into the curvatures of my nostrils, trimming hairs in just a couple of passes. The same goes for those pesky ear hairs!
The item I received included just the nose hair trimmer and the storage sack. The detailer and shaver attachment were not included. The Amazon writeup did not make this clear, and the registration site did not include registration for the trimmer without attachments. Therefore I had to register the trimmer with attachments even though I didn't receive them. The trimmer itself seems to work just fine, and if the Amazon writeup had been clear I would have given this product five stars.
I searched for the best nose hair trimmer on the internet and this was one that came up. I had a very old one that didn’t cut very well and would even pull the hairs. So I was reluctant to purchase another one. But they changed the design of the cutting head so I gave it a try. This trimmer works as advertised and cuts the hairs really nice. I’m very impressed with it and have already recommended it to a friend.
This is the third Conair-battery-operated ear/nose trimmer we have purchased. This This This trimmer cuts my husband's hairy ears very well but the switch on and off mechanism has been a problem after several months of use on both of the previous purchases. We have tried two other brands and they simply didn't cut well at all. Thus, we have come back to the good cutting Conair. Just wish they would improve the on/off switch. Would have rated a 5 star except for this on two time repeating issue.
