I absolutely love my Contigo cups they truly do uphold to everything they say they will do! Like morning coffee even in the coldest of weather stays hot all day. From 6:00 in the morning till around 4:00 p.m. my coffee is still at a very comfortable drinkable warm so I never miss a single drop of the Java that gets me going and keeps me that way all day. Can also be used to keep cold things cold I have had ice in a Contigo cup for over 24 hours and there was still ice the next day. Best stainless steel travel mug! This is ultra durable so I never have to worry about the hundreds of times its been dropped. It keeps my coffee hot for a good 2 hours and warm for a couple hours after that. It's also great for cold drinks as it keeps my ice from melting for about an entire 8 hours! I use mine everyday, all day long!! The stainless steel is stylish and cleans up perfect everytime. The O-ring inside of the lid keeps it from leaking ever. This travel mug is awesome. There is a button you have to press in order to take a sip, which helps keep things hot and prevent spilling. It's totally leakproof, with a locking mechanism so you cant accidentally press the button to release liquid. This is great for sticking the mug into a bag and not worrying about it leaking. It does keep your drink hot, but not as hot or as long as some other brands can. I use this when I'm traveling a lot, and have yet to have a spill. Due to the moving parts, it is kind of a pain to clean which is my only gripe since I drink milk drinks, which can be harder to clean. The outer layer has also peeled over time. Mine is an older version, the newer ones may not do this.... Show more

This keeps your cold drinks cold for hours and hours at a time. Not only cold but hot. As a college student I do a lot of online work and it is very very tough to get something that won't sweat and burn my hands. Not only that but this cup was designed to sip or chug your drinks. The design on this one is flawless. The hand grip part is very comfortable and it does not spill. It looks like it will last a lifetime as well. For me it is definitely gonna be a 10/10 it is so beautiful to look at as well. Perfect for cold or hot coffee. Doctors and nurses come on down and get you the perfect thing for those long shifts. I've used the a contigo Steel Travel Mug 24oz since 2016 daily. To the point that it's beat up and paint chipping and still functioned well with excellent insulation capabilities. I had replaced it in 2020 and during covid continued to use it daily for cold brew coffee. In May 2023 I decided to get another new one after years of use to find out they made a new version, the Byron 2.0 24oz. I gladly purchased it since my others worked so well for so long. Around November 2023 I noticed the outside of the mug would be freezing cold with my iced cold brew inside. This is indicative of a vacuum seal failure. I chalked it up to a fluke and purchased another mug a few days ago and it has no insulation capability at all. The exterior of the mug is ice cold when cold drink ... Byron 24oz travel mug
Many years ago I bought the Byron 24oz travel mug for my water and loved it. 6 moths later I bought the 16 oz for my coffee. Used them for many years until the O rings gave out and leaked everywhere. Contacted Contigo to find out if they sold the rings, which they didn't, and they sent me replacements for both. YAYWas super happy until the same thing happened on the new ones after only 2 years of use. Then someone gave me on as a gift last year and within 6 months the O ring let go and it started leaking.I'm super careful how tight I make the lids because I know those rings are slim rubber and still, they let go. The quality of those rings are not what they used to be.They are beautifully designed with that one character flaw. Cheap rubber rings.... Show more

BRING BACK THE DATK PLUM! I absolutley love this travel mug. I replace it once a year as I use it practically everyday. Last year, I could not find the dark plum in 20 oz., so I decided to try the 16 oz version which did have the dark plum. I found that the 16oz. version, for whatever reason did not keep my tea warm the whole day like the 20 oz. Thankfully I kept my 20 oz. around and as beat up as it is and it still keeps my drink warmer for longer (although it's getting old and not painting temperature as well as it once did). I really want to replace it, but want the dark plum color. PLEASE , please bring it back. Or at least try a different purple, for us purple loving folk out there, we are a plenty.... Show more

Instead of flipping open a tab to drink out of, the tab on one side opens the small seal of the drinking hole. It also holds up well in the dishwasher. I put the lid in the silverware basket on the bottom shelf of my dishwasher and it doesn’t warp from the heat. I don’t really get all of the negative reviews! These reviewers must have defective cups, because mine is great. Perhaps it doesn’t keep everything piping hot for 8 hours like a Hydroflask would, but it’s good enough for my commute. I've used Contigo bottles for years and that's why I purchased this one. I was seeking 24 oz, no straw, good cold retention, one-handed operation, and in general the ability to pick it up in the midst of my normal activities and have a drink of cold water.First, and why it's going back, is that it needs two hands to operate. If I need two hands, I can use any of the other bottles I already have. Obviously, I wouldn't be able to use it in the car.Almost every time I took a drink, too much water came out and poured all over me, so it was not appropriate for bedside use.Every other Contigo I own has a push-button, I expected this to function the same way, it doesn't.It's a "just no" for me, but it might work for others....
