I have done a lot of research on coffee mugs and thermoses in the past. I am very picky with my mugs. I don't like having a lot of coffee mugs and just wanted one that I knew would keep my coffee hot for hours, would fit in the cup holder in my car, would not spill through my running around and has a pleasant design. I've looked at a lot articles on mugs in the past. I can take sip of my coffee now 6-8 hours into work and my coffee is still hot. Love this mug so much - it really has changed the way I drink my coffee! It is very easy to use and clean. Really happy with the color and the finish as well. It feels premium. Will return to other Contigo products in the future.

This is an excellent mug! My coffee stays hot practically all day and when you snap the lid shut it doesn't leak at all. I love that you can leave it unsnapped for one handed drinking and so you don't have to unlock it every time you take a sip. Also, if you need to toss it in your bag, you can lock the lid seal and it stays closed. Truly an excellent design and very functional. It is also top-rack dishwasher safe and very attractive looking.

I have a couple of Contigo travel cups and they always work well - this 16oz mug is no different. I mostly use it for coffee in the mornings and it keeps it warm for long enough (I usually drink within a couple of hours). One big plus is that it fits in my small car cup holder! Also, I have not had any problems with leaks - so no stains on work clothes! One consideration, the snap seal lid took some getting used to - but once I did, it works perfectly. I really like this mug!

Stylish and exceptional at keeping drinks hot or cold. Starting in the morning with a fresh brewed black coffee, the Contigo can keep it a respectable temperature all the way through the late afternoon. As for ice water, it almost works a little too well. This is definitely a cup that requires a light amount of ice (otherwise you end up like me with a chunk of ice at the bottom).The lid is sturdy and not prone to leaking, but does require some force to open and close.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how well this mug kept my ice water cold. My test was to add ice and water at 5pm one night and check on it at 6am the next morning. As you can see, there is still just a little ice left but the water was still very cold and refreshing. The second test was to see if it leaked so I turned it upside down and nothing. I also was thrilled that the mug did not sweat as many do. There is a little vent that flips up just a little to allow you to sip your drink. To keep it colder/hotter longer, shut the flap and then just open it when you want another sip. I have tried other brands that claim that their bottles are "leak resistant" but this Contigo bottle is truly Leak proof. I have tried to shake and shake and shake this bottle but the liquid will not leak out. The secret sauce is in the rubber ball that tightly grips the drink sprout, when it's even a little wet it creates a vacuum seal that makes it physically impossible for the leak to happen. This is my new commuter coffee bottle and it also doubles as my weekend hiking bottle.
My new favorite travel mug! It's truly leakproof, which is super important to me. I like to bike to work, and this is the perfect mug for either coffee or water. Keeps it hot or cold for my whole ride, and does leak one bit! I especially love that you can use it one-handed due to its open/close mechanism. Perfect for biking, hiking, camping, or every day use. I remember over a decade ago in college, my one roommate always had Contigo coffee cups and the rest of us roommates didn't. Sure enough ours always leaked or would break and hers was always the favorite coffee cup in the house. Over a decade later and Contigo cups still have this reputation in my household. I love my new Contigo 16oz Huron 2.0 with SNAPSEAL Lid Insulated Travel Mug! I love that it is ACTUALLY LEAKPROOF! I am a full time student and a mom of three so I am always running late and this has become my absolute favorite travel mug. I grab it and go every morning. I love that my drinks stay cold all day and most importantly I don't have it spilling all over my backpack or myself. It really is the perfect size too!
I purchased this same mug last year and sent it in a trip with a friend. I love this mug so much it took me Senegal months to find it again. It keeps coffee hot, is spill proof and fits easily in my hand. I was ecstatic this last trip to the store to find it on the shelf again. I’ve thrown it closed in my purse and it does not leak.
