The Trail is the gnarlier of the two Terra variants which Continental offer. These tyres have been desgined with a raised shoulder tread to optimise cornering grip. The larger and slightly more spaced out centre line tread brings additional straightline grip and enables mud to clear the tyre more effectively. Continental offer the Terra range in two casing and rubber compound options. The top tier tyre features a ProTection 3 ply tuebless casing and the top secret 'handmade in Germany' Black Chili compound. The second option features a Shieldwall construction for preventing surface abrasion of the sidewalls and the durable Pure Grip compound which is proven in both road and off-road applications.
