These test strips accept a small (tiny?) sample. I do not need to code my Contour USB meter. I would love a lower price, but I chose to use a meter that is not supplied by my Health Care Provider in which case I would get free supplies (the reasons for opting to use this test strip/meter combo is best covered in a review of the meter). It is great that I do not need to make multiple attempts to obtain a sample for the test strips, just a tiny sample fills up the test strip and I get a reading on my meter.

The readings are accurate and having the Bluetooth link to my phone is great because it automatically records the readings in the app.

I have been a diabetic for several years now and have bought many of the little machines for monitoring my blood glucose level. Never ever ever in all of these years have I gotten a little machine that came with zero test strips. What a joke! Always before with every machine that comes with a few test strips. This is also an extremely hard to understand device- The directions are not user-friendly at all.
